"La Fortezza" villa with sea view

La Fortezza is a villa surrounded by greenery and the absolute quiet of its private park, among centuries-old olive trees, a grove of oaks and an orchard. It is located on a hill, just 6 km from the crystal clear sea of Polignano a Mare (BLUE FLAG SINCE 2008 and 5 LEGAMBIENTE SAILS) with its wonderful sea caves to discover by boat. The villa is made exclusively of stone, wood and glass, on two levels, and is characterized by the presence of one hectare of park, a large panoramic terrace overlooking the sea, and a solarium. Inside the park, to stay in perfect shape during your vacation at La Fortezza, a fully equipped gym is available to guests (free of charge) with an elliptical, bench and dumbbells, punching bag and gloves, and total body workout equipment. The wood-burning oven and barbecue are available for guests to prepare and enjoy pizzas, focaccias and outdoor grills. The panoramic terrace, from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the expanse of olive trees, white farms, sky and sea, is about 40 square meters and is furnished with a large dining table in the shade of three holm oaks that "emerge" from the garden below: the wooden floor was built respecting the presence of the trees through the creation of the slots in correspondence with the trunks. Inside the park of La Fortezza you will find flowers and scents and many corners of paradise: rock seats where you can sit to read a book or listen to music, wooden sunbeds to sunbathe and enjoy the sunset breeze. You can pick seasonal fruits directly from the trees to enjoy their fantastic flavor. In the orchard, two rows of lavender to perfume your wardrobes in the city! The park is completely fenced with an electric gate, alarm system and private security service.

Domenico’s beautiful home is immersed in olive groves. The property has an incredible pool and multiple spaces on the property to sit and relax. The inside is beautifully decorated and cozy. And the kitchen has everything you need from an espresso maker to supplies to cook an incredible at home dinner. The shower was a dream and who doesn’t live a towel warmer. For it being an old trullo, everything was updated inside. I could stay weeks in this place! His host was kind and responsive. I can’t wait to return one day. It poured one day and even that experience was incredible. Thank you!

Angelo's cottage left us speechless!!!The first question we placed as soon as we arrived, seeing all the outdoor space that surrounded the house and the house itself, was:"But is it all ours"? Obviously the answer is yes! A villa surrounded by nature and silence!Equipped with everything both inside and outside..The outdoor space in particular is beautiful..from the barbecue, to the relaxation area with sun loungers and the shower!If like us you have a dog you can roam in full freedom as the whole property is really completely fenced and safe! The villa is also located in a really strategic position with respect to the main cities that are just 15 minutes away by car:Conversano, Monopoli, Polignano a Mare. Half anhour from Alberobello. In short, it's a treat! Angelo is really kind and very helpful for any information!! Thank you for your welcome and....Goodbye!!!

Small apartment with bathroom, equipped with all necessities. Please note: there is no kitchen, but there is a microwave. So you have to take this into account for a long stay. Located in a charming town that is perfect as a base to explore the highlights of Puglia. The apartment is located in a cozy, local alley, making you feel like a resident of the town right away. Antonella helped me excellently and gave me valuable tips about the region. The place was clean and tidy. All in all a very nice host and the apartment is definitely recommended!
