We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful home. The garden and pool is really special and the house feels clean, modern and stylish. It’s really well stocked with plenty of essentials and extras. Stephane, Anais and Aurore were very responsive throughout and were flexible when our departure was a little delayed due to travelling with a newborn. We barely left the pool but the area has lots of great villages to explore. The local village vending machine with baguettes and croissants is great fun. Will definitely come back!

Charming little house, very well-equipped, in the center of the village of Dangu. Particularly suitable for a family with young children (garden with games). Upstairs there is a first bedroom with a very large bed, a second bedroom with 2 beds of 90 cm and a third bedroom with a bed of 120 cm. There is a baby bed as well as a mattress (90 cm) in this room.

The house is very charming and the view is magical. Severine is the most gracious, welcoming host I’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. She is responsive, helpful and very thoughtful providing guests with specialized recommendations and an abundance of amenities. The kitchen was well equipped and everything a home cook could ask for! You can see the love that has gone into the home and how that has translated to sharing that love with guests.

Our stay at Orpheus Lodge was lovely. We were greeted upon our arrival by Afaf and her sweet dog, Prada. Afaf had the refrigerator stocked with water, orange juice, milk and even some homemade strawberry jam from the garden. We loved sitting out on the balcony overlooking the garden and the weather was perfect to open the windows and let the breeze flow through the house. Everything is within walking distance in Giverny and we enjoyed going to the bakery every morning for croissants. Giverny is very crowded during the day but Orpheus Lodge is located on a quieter part of the town. We loved walking to dinner after the town emptied of the crowds. We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend Afaf’s place to anyone staying in Giverny.
