Vacation rentals in Monshaat Al Amari

I spent just over a week at Villa Shanhouri - a calm and peaceful haven on the west bank, a stone's throw away from the Nile. There are many sacred sites to explore nearby, and one can easily cross to the east bank by boat. The room was spacious and comfortable - no fault at all to be found. Saleh and his team are kind, generous and hospitable hosts. I highly recommend, you'll have a wonderful time.

Un séjour absolument parfait à Louxor ! L’appartement était conforme à l’annonce, très propre, confortable et idéalement situé. Mais ce qui a vraiment fait la différence, c’est l’hospitalité exceptionnelle de notre hôte, Mohammed. D’une gentillesse rare, toujours souriant et extrêmement disponible, il s’est assuré que tout se passe au mieux du début à la fin. Que ce soit pour organiser des visites, recommander des restaurants ou simplement échanger, Mohammed a été d’une aide précieuse. On sent qu’il accueille ses invités avec le cœur. Un grand merci à lui pour cette belle expérience égyptienne ! Je recommande les yeux fermés.

Even though we had to cross the Nile river several times I love the place. We had a balcony with a view to the Nile river. There was a pool which I could not use, maybe next time. I really enjoy the ambiance, the location and the hospitality. One remark: I wish mattress as bit softer. For my Mom mattress was fine. I would recommend / ask for a full body mirror.

Nous avons apprécié la tranquillité et la convivialité du lieu, modeste et authentique. Heureusement qu'il y avait la climatisation car il faisait très chaud. Le point le plus important est que notre hôte Goda était entièrement disponible, il a beaucoup facilité notre séjour, nous n'avons pas eu gérer la logistique des excursions que nous voulions faire ainsi que les chauffeurs ne parlant pas anglais. Si vous décidez d'y séjourner, je vous déconseille le chauffeur que pourrait vous proposer Mostafa car son prix est élevé, sinon il est important de convenir à l'avance du prix, ou alors vous prenez un taxi jusqu'au bord de la rive Est du Nil et prenez un petit bateau pour traverser à un prix raisonnable et beaucoup plus rapide.

I had a great stay at Hagag’s place — excellent value for the price! The location is on the other side of the canal, so keep in mind you’ll need to take the ferry to cross, but it’s totally worth it. The place itself is amazing, and Hagag went above and beyond by helping us with some extra services. They were slightly more expensive than average, but 100% worth it thanks to the outstanding service. I’d definitely come back, maybe even with some friends next time. Thanks again for everything!

I had a great stay with Anwar. Was able to accommodate my early check in so I could go out and see the sites earlier. Was helpful and friendly. Made me feel welcome in his home.

Located in a quieter part of Luxor, which for me is essential to avoiding the tourist traps of the centre of the city. Great reception from Ahmed and Andrea and amazing service from all the staff who's breakfast is ideal for hot weather and starting of one's day. I have no complaints. the pool was great to cool down during the extreme heat of noon to 4pm. Make sure to get a taxi or tuctuc number just so you can easily zip into the city or go further to the touristic sites. loved every minute of my journey in Luxor and this was due to this very special guesthouse. I will definitely be returning, and returning knowing full well that I will be met by friends. Thank you to everyone that participated to this very magical trip. I wish I could have stayed but I have the rest of Egypt to visit.

The landlord is super nice. It was almost twelve o'clock in the evening when we arrived, but he was still waiting for us and helped us carry our luggage. He also took us around the house and made us breakfast. The noodles were super delicious! A good man at home! The most important thing is that living here is really cost-effective. The house decoration is beautiful and tidy. I hope everyone can come and live here!
