Cabin vacation rentals in Monroe County

The hot tub was very nice. The place was very clean. Close to other cabins. Easy access...no steep hills to climb. The loft ladder didn't make it easy to get upstairs. Kinda pricey compared to other cabins we stayed at. There wasn't any dish soap. No wood included. It was a nice stay. Internet is frontier and i couldn't even use it. I had to use my cell phone data.

What a wonderful place to decompress, enjoy nature and rejuvenate! We loved our stay and the beautiful surroundings. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat, this is it.

Great location and provided us with exactly what we wanted. Superb chill out, steaks over a fire pit, warm and toasty feeling.

We enjoyed our stay at Steve’s place on the river. We were traveling with our dogs and loved that we were able to stay comfortably with them. Our lab loved the easy access to the river! I would caution you not to use Waze for directions when leaving New River Gorge NP as the route that it provided was convoluted and a bit daunting in the dark. This was no fault of the host and Steve provided great info regarding the road to turn on as well as check in process. It was a wonderful peaceful way to spend Thanksgiving and we would stay again if ever in the area!

Leanna is warm and responsive. What you see is exactly what you get! A well-taken care of piece of property that is fully equipped, clean, and spacious. It is clear that a great deal of pride and thoughtful design has gone into this property and it was an absolutely peaceful and perfectly pristine stay. The only (and I do mean only) thing that could improve your stay would be having a washer and dryer on site. This place truly lives up to the name “Almost Heaven”.

Sweet little cabin on beautiful property with winding creek and fun fire-pit. We stayed in this air b&b for an extended weekend with our family of 6 while in town for a VT football game. Enjoyed watching the deer running around the property. Even saw a bald eagle.

The unplugged Yellowstone was such a beautiful and relaxing quick getaway. We brought our two dogs and they absolutely loved the stream. The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed. Carlin was a very responsive host and so helpful with our last minute requests. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!

Awesome place to stay outside of Blacksburg, back in the woods. Big Stoney Creek nearby is a beautiful spot to stop and enjoy nature. The property itself has a Spectacular view if the hike up the mountain is within your reach. Reserve with confidence!

I recently had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The home was incredibly clean and well-kept, making for a comfortable and pleasant experience. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful, waking up to the views from the cabin was an amazing experience. Rich was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help us check in smoothly. They were also very responsive and helpful when we had a few questions during our stay. Overall, it was a great time, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming spot!

This is a beautiful spacious cabin with wonderful views of the mountains. It is very secluded and private. There is another cabin across the driveway and you are able to see and hear them when there is another person there. We stayed with 3 other couples and my mom and brought our dogs (which we loved being able to do that rather than board them back at home) and had plenty of room. Everyone enjoyed using the pool table and the fire pit out front.

Great stay! Its spring and the property is covered in blooms. The whole place is a slice of heaven. The cabin is amazing as well. Perfectly clean and extremely well built. It also has a fun loft to sleep in. I’ll definitely stay here again.

We rented this cabin for a family fishing trip. The size of the cabin was large enough to hold our 10 adults comfortably! The location was wonderful with beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife. We saw 3 bears, turkeys, deer, a bald eagle and ducks! Of course we all caught lots of fish! It was a really nice and relaxing time with family! The summer temperatures did make for warm afternoons in the house, but we knew that AC units were not included. We had a great time and highly recommend this location!

Such a special place! Depot Lodge goes above and beyond to ensure you have a comfortable getaway. Truly no stone was left unturned. We enjoyed a peaceful couple of days at Fox Hill Cabin and it could not have been better. Private, comfortable, and clean. Perfect for my husband, one year old and me. Highly recommend!
