For the interest of children, there is a neat playhouse, as well as a 3-level tree house to explore. In the spring and summer, the children can also enjoy the baby ducks, baby goats, and baby rabbits.For the toddlers, there is an enclosed play area with a sandbox and swings. Fun Things to Do at Plumfield Stable Canoe on the Kickapoo River. Bike on the Sparta/Elroy bike trail or on the La Crosse River Bike Trail. Both are within 15 miles. Hike and Horseback Ride on trails in the beautiful Wildcat Mountain State Park. For the fishing enthusiasts, there are several rivers and streams within 20 miles. Golf on any of the three, public courses within 15 miles of our stable. Shop the large, Amish community nearby. There are bakeries and candy shops to explore and quilts, crafts, and other Amish goods for sale. Tours are available. Boat or take a cruise on the Mighty Mississippi River!

Brush Creek Log Cabins is your perfect get away for couples or the whole family. If you are looking to relax, do some recreational activities like canoeing , bike riding, hiking, antiquing and Amish shopping or spend time with that special someone you can find it just a few hours from home. We are in between Ontario and Cashton, off of Hwy 33. Over looking the Amish farms below. There are fairs and festivals many with tractor pulls nearby. Warrens cranberry festival and the Dells are nearby.

Our Cabin is located in the Heart of Amish Country on 44 Acres. (maps for Amish tours located in the cupboard) We have Wild Cat Mountain State Park, 5 miles away for horseback riding, hiking trails, and a scenic overlook. As well as the Kickapoo Wild Life Reserve in Lafarge. There is Canoe, Kayak and tubing rentals at the Kickapoo River 3 miles away. Elroy-Sparta Bike trail is about 15 miles away. We are located off of Highway 33 between Cashton and Ontario WI.

Cozy and full of Atmosphere Camper with Fire pit

Location is 30 seconds off the Sparta- Elroy bike trail, nestled on a 110 acre farm. The Baraboo River runs through the property, so bring your fishing poles. There are also miles of beautiful hiking trails on the property, and one of them leads you to the river. This property is a very active farm with Chickens, horses, calves and other critters. Enjoy your evening on your own private deck with fire pit!

David's cabin very clean and nice. It's the kind of place where as soon as you walk in you know it's perfectly clean. There were no bugs or ants or spiders. Very comfortable. It has 3 nice bedrooms with one upstairs and two downstairs. The kitchen is nice and the view out the back is very scenic. The hot is very responsive and a nice guy as well. He makes sure to take care of any issues that may arise and wants the guest to he happy. I would stay again for a nice quiet getaway or with our 3 year old who didn't want to leave the cabin and go home.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in the cozy cabin. The bed was comfortable and there was enough space to spread out for two people. while the bathrooms weren't in the unit they were close enough that it wasn't an issue at all (30 feet). breakfast in the morning was great, fresh made sausage, bacon, and french toast. thanks so much for the hospitality.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving stay at the LeClaire Lodge! We booked this stay as a getaway to unplug, which is exactly what we did. The home was beuatiful, cozy, super clean, and inviting. Amy was a beyond wonderful host leaving us goodies from a local bakery and some fun gifts for our pup! Everything in the house is clearly labled, which is so appreciated when getting to know a new space. The fire pit (fire wood included) is a great space to hangout and the wraparound porch is beauitful! If you are looking to unplug from the busyness of our world, I would really recommend the LeClaire Lodge! And there is plenty of fun games, shuffleboard, and a ton of land for the kiddos and pups to run around. We are hoping to stay here again in the summer when we can take advantage of the outside space!

We cannot say enough about our stay at Mary's. She was always quick to respond to questions and help with anything that came up during our stay. The house was wonderful and perfect for us. We will definitely be looking to stay at Mary's again next year when we are in the area for our annual turkey hunting trip. Thank you Mary for allowing us to stay and hope to stay again in the future
