There is a marina, as well as a public boat launch less than 5 minutes away and Lake Erie is only a 10-minute boat ride from the house. You can also access the Huron River using kayaks within 5 minutes from our dock. Very pleased with everything except the fact we didn't get to enjoy it, it was raining when got and had to leave early the next morning. Great location, walking distance to anything you may need, had dinner at the beach cafe, also nice experience. Got walk the peir next day, Thanks for lovely home for our stay.

The place was perfect for what I was looking for the scenery/ location was beautiful and convenient and the place was clean, spacious and tasteful. I was most grateful for how thoughtful the host was for providing wine/soda/water and even bubble bath soap lol the only negative for me was the spiders. Every night we came back, a spider would create a new web on the outside stairway that led to the entrance. My fiancé and I actually got bit breaking up the webs. This may be out of the host control…

Eddie greeted us warmly and showed us how the house worked. I was there for a dog show it was absolutely perfect for that! Everything we needed was right there and it felt a very safe comfortable dog friendly area!

After staying the night in Wallace’s cottage, my girlfriend and I will definitely be back. Was an amazing stay if your looking for a cute getaway spot. I do recommend kayaks it’s got a beautiful dock and waterfront!!

Perfection! A beautiful home and the best back yard. Went for a relaxing girls weekend and that’s exactly what we got. The house has everything and the beds are very comfy. It’s close enough to Toledo for restaurants and shopping but far enough out that you can relax and unwind. Scott and Jennifer were great at communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

I can’t say enough about how Shellie and Gee Gee went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable! The room I was in was great: Great bed, frig, coffee maker, cable TV. But the best part was being literally feet (maybe 30 or so) away from Lake Erie on the Maumee Bay and having a deck outside my room to sit and enjoy it! The sunrises were spectacular. And listening to the waves at night led to oversleeping! Anyway, a great place in a hard-working Northeast side of Toledo.
