Yurt vacation rentals in Mongolia

Organised transport to and from Ulaanbaatar and a driver/tour guide for the day for $100. The guide was lovely, and we had fun battling through the rain. Family were very accommodating, and the ger was comfortable and warm.

Quaint, peaceful and family-oriented... These are the words that best describe Esmedekh's ger-camp. The family has set up a beautiful logging that is both modern yet traditional with many Mongol elements. This place (and their service) could easily be comparable to a "bed and breakfast". The camp is organized to truly respect nature and promote organic living. Three warm meals are prepared daily with majority of ingredients/resources cultivated off the land. Tours and entertainment can be arranged before travel or daily with the hosts. Coming to Murun, our luggage was lost and family members took us into town to purchase necessities to last our stay. There was not wifi at our individual ger- as amenities had originally suggested, nor is there any at the main cafeteria. All in all, our stay was pleasant and we were very pleased with the value. All additional service costs are billed at the end of the stay. Highly suggest requesting airport pickup for best transport to camp.

My daughter (11 years old) and I stayed together.It is still difficult for my daughter to ride for a long time, so I did not ride the horse, and instead asked for additional options for a dog sledding experience and a visit to the Chinggis Khan Mounted Statue.Messaging was seamless and accommodating with additional requests and inquiries.There were some instances where this schedule was not communicated well on site, but I contacted them and they responded immediately.During my stay, the nomads took care of me and made me feel very comfortable.She worked hard to communicate with me in the Finger Talk Book and the Translation app, and it was a very warm stay.We'd love to come back again in a different season.

We had a great time at Baigal’s guesthouse. It is less than 10 minutes walking to the accommodation from the main bus terminal in Murun

There is not the yurt only, but a nice family which will take care about all you need in Ulgii province of Mongolia. Truck, driver, permits, service etc. Very friendly people. Great English level.

we are an international group of researchers, lucky to visit Lhagva's farm during the Naadam festival. We enjoyed good food, comfy beds, and interesting conversations. lhagva took us to the local festival, which was an experience of a lifetime. Many thanks for your hospitality!

Dava is a good host that provide me a bunch of activities, and I also spent 3 happy days in the accommodation as well as the small town! Wish I could come to there again!

This hostel is friendly and helps you have a special experience in Mongolia. It is located in Terjji National Park, and if you communicate with the host and the staff, they will provide local guidance at an appropriate price. In particular, the pick-up and drop-off service is the best, and the Mayak manager is very friendly. We help with flexible check-in/check-out. When I come to Mongolia, UB, I will stay in this ger again.

A traditional and clean ger, let's have a "petit nomad experience"!! 3-40 minutes (by car) from the city, a place where locals go to relax on weekends and summer holidays, not a tourist spot so the air is clean, they are happy to help with tourist advice, the family is lovely, a national park with the source of the Selve River (by car), if you walk up the mountain behind it the view is amazing! 伝統的で清潔なゲル、プチNomad体験をしよう♪市内から3-40分(車)、地元民が週末や夏休み癒されにいく場所、観光地化されていなく空気がキレイ、観光の相談に快くのってくれる、家族が素敵、セルべ川源泉のある国立公園(車)、歩いて裏山に登ると見晴らし最高！

Oyuna provided us with an incredible memorable stay with a Mongolia family in a very traditional, yet modern and comfortable stay. Our ger was warm, our bellies full of good food, and we were always chatting! We would love to come back and stay again, in different season, and different settings! She stands out amongst the rest due to her incredible and friendly personality.

We stayed three nights at Oyunas brothers Ger. There were some small miscommunications but over all we had a great stay! We got the most delicious vegetarian food and the family was very friendly. Make sure to tell Oyuna beforehand what your expectations are and what you would like to experience. We asked to milk cows and did a short horse ride. We could also watch how the family made cheese curt. Unfortunately Oyuna was not with us so we could not understand the family. I recommend you do some research on hiking in that area because we didn’t know where to go in our free time. On our last day the family took us to Terelj national park for 70$ per person. A tour with English speaking guide would have been better, but we still enjoyed our time! Thank you!!! :)

Pick up and drop off were accurate and everyone was friendly. The horse experience was a very valuable experience. The scenery is wonderful. Mongolian food was also delicious.

Great stay, very helpful and nice!

The traditional ger nestled amidst the vast Mongolian grass plains provided a truly authentic experience. The owner operates a sprawling traditional farm with horses and other animals, adding to the charm. While the exact location isn't listed on Airbnb, it's understandable given the remote nature of the farm, which may change its location throughout the year. The owner offers pickup and drop-off from the nearby Darkhan train or bus station. The host's response time was a bit slow, and there was a slight delay in my pickup from the bus station, but it was understandable considering her work and other responsibilities. The surroundings were breathtaking, with picturesque views of the Mongolian plains and expansive skies. Inside, the ger exuded traditional Mongolian charm, with authentic furniture, ceilings, and blankets adding to the ambiance. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the tranquility and beauty of the Mongolian countryside.

Tour was an incredible experience

A beautiful campsite along the shoreline at the junction of 5 rivers. Very well located for walks and fishing (trout, Taimen, etc.), with an excellent fishing guide that can take you by boat on nice spots. The management and the whole team of the campsite was really attentive with us. a big thank you to them for making this stay very pleasant for us.

Had a great stay at Enkhzaya's yurt! Her family are extremely attentive and caring. The location and yurt itself is also very nice. Despite only being about 1.5 hours out of the city, the area is nice and remote with great hiking spots. Was also invited over to the neighbours for drinks. Had an amazing time! Definitely coming back if I get the chance to return to Mongolia!

The host was very caring, offering a really great stay. To the point, the WC was not better than we expected. But the host's attention and problem resolution was terrific. When my friend didn't eat, he immediately made soup and prepared breakfast, we were very satisfied
