The house, although it seems small, served perfectly for six people plus a baby and has everything you need for a great stay. It is located on a hillside with a fabulous view of the surrounding hills (and you can even see Our Lady of Grace in the distance). The pool, being shared with the house below, is more than enough to accommodate everyone and helped cool off the hottest days. I would also like to highlight the friendliness of D. Amélia, who checked us in and also André who was available for anything that was needed. It's on the list of places to revisit for a family vacation!

Boa localizao, very close to the center of Mondim de Basto. Very nice hosts who left us a delicious grape. Home with the essentials to spend a few days.

The house is simply spectacular 😍 We were in a group (5 couples and 5 children) and the house was quite spacious and functional, a kitchen full of all that was needed and more. The outdoor spaces were fantastic for children and for adults. We all felt sorry we had to finish this year in the best way. A Carminho and D. Fernanda have always been very attentive and always available to help. One of the best ever experiences we hope to repeat. The area is simply wonderful with the possibility of fantastic walking tours.

Had a lovely stay at Carlos‘s place. Beautiful accommodation, interesting and full of character. Good location right in the centre of town, but a car would be recommended for getting to the town and for exploring the area. Loved that the river beach is a short walk away. Great value for an authentic Portuguese experience.

Beautiful place, great views, comfortable, fascinating location with an easy walk down for a dip in the river. A couple of things that should have been in the listing: 1. If you follow the directions on the listing you’ll end up at a place that is nowhere near the apartment and 2. You are right next door to a bar that plays very loud American pop music- our first night, Sat., it played until 2am, the second, Sunday, until midnight, and Monday not at all. That curtailed my enjoyment of the place significantly, though it didn’t seem to bother my kids. Davide let us stay late the last day which was nice since it was so hot! The place itself is unique and beautiful- thank you Davide!

We recommend for a family stay. We really enjoyed the house, the location, it matched what we were looking for.

Otima estadia, comfortable space, clean and with everything a family needs to have a cozy stay. We ended up leaving the car in front of the garage unintentionally and were super understanding, we regret the inconvenience. For the rest, we highly recommend:) Everything was impeccable and we were very well received!

This was one of two Airbnb stays we've visited for the second time over the years. This time we felt extremely comfortable with Julio and Irene! This time we were on site for 2 weeks and were therefore able to enjoy the accommodation even more. The pool, the nature, everything convinced us again this time! Casas do Paço provide a perfect stay for those who want to take their patudos on vacation. Our dogs loved the space surrounding our "little house"! Each unit is completely enclosed making it 100% safe for them to walk loose in the garden of the house. In terms of comfort, comfort and cleanliness we found everything we were looking for. The swimming pool is great and even if it is shared, all guests can enjoy it. Although the property is secluded, Arco de Baúlhe is less than 5 minutes by car and Cabeceiras de Basto within a 10 minute drive. I'd like to thank André and D. Amelia all availability.

The place is perfect for a group of friends, in our case we were 8 adults and 4 children who had a great time running around the garden. Eugenio was attentive and concerned about everything going well.

This was probably the best experience we have ever had. This place is so private and surrounded by nature, perfect to enjoy amazing sunny days away from the city commotion. The whole place also exceeded our expectations, obviously through photos you don’t get the real sense of the house, but it was better than what we were imagining. Silvia, who had personal contact with us, was absolutely amazing and worked very hard for us to have the most pleasant stay possible. We will definitely be back next year!

Eduardo was an excellent host and his place was beautiful! Checking in was simple and the space was clean. As a host, Eduardo was knowledge about the area and provide excellent resource in multiple languages, as well as responsive to all our questions. We hope to come back again for a much longer stay!

We booked the place to spend New Year's Eve with friends, and we brought two dogs. The area is beautiful and the reception was wonderful. Cristiana and her family treated us super well, and made a point of putting us at ease, having always been available to help with whatever was needed. The days were cold, but they left us a lot of firewood, which allowed the house to always be warm. On New Year's Eve they left us more wine and a freshly baked cake The house was super clean and had everything that was needed. We really wanted to come back, thanks for everything!

We stayed in Maria Filomena's apartment for a month and we loved it. The comfort of the oalce, the beatufil views, serenity and sound of village life. Maria Filomena was the greatest host, very friendly and generous. We trully felt at home. The Alvite area and Cerva is woderful location and we fell in love with this part of Portugal. The neighbours were cherry on top. Great couple, lovely to speak to. We will be back :)

Carla's place is a small peaceful oasis, the garden with the view is splendid! The house is perfect, tastefully decorated, clean, tidy. The bedding is extremely comfortable. Upon arrival we were treated to small touches: chocolates, jam, champagne. We even had a Christmas tree as a decoration. There are small games for children available in the house in addition to swings and slide outside. Communication with the host was great, we were able to arrive earlier in our accommodation and we could have left later. Carla heard from us during the stay, asking us if everything was okay, we really appreciated that. The only small downside is the wifi network which does not work very well. We highly recommend this place for a family vacation!

Lovely 2 night stay to break up a long motorhome tour of Portugal and Spain. Luís’s place was perfect for us and our two dogs. It’s set in beautiful countryside with lots of local walks. The house is quite remote but has everything you need and is very well maintained. Logs are provided for the wood burner which was an added bonus and a local baker delivered bread to our door. Luis was a very helpful and welcoming host. It was lovely place to stay. Thank you, Luís.
