We had a wonderful stay at this unique home in Kyalami. The place felt like a private lodge, with quirky decor that added so much charm and character. We especially loved spotting the deer and tortoises roaming around—it gave the whole experience a peaceful, nature-filled vibe. The garden, pool, and outdoor area were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning African sunsets. The 4-bedroom house was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped for a group. Gary, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tranquil, one-of-a-kind getaway close to nature.

We had an absolute dream stay at Vee's beautiful home. The hot tub was a definite highlight - made our stay even more special. Vee was a pleasure to work with - super responsive, and accommodating. Her hospitality was top-notch. Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a lovely place to relax.

The place looked exactly like the pictures,absolutely beautiful and spotless. The security guards were friendly, and we had no issues entering or exiting throughout our stay. I booked it for four nights, and every moment was just as lovely as expected. Highly recommended!

Exactly as pictured and more!! What a treat, tucked away and surrounded by beautiful greenery all around the property. It is decorated with stunning pieces but still feels like home away from home. My visit was short but I will be back. Tash and the housekeeper Shayla were so sweet and helpful through the entirely of our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this Lembah Kali over the weekend! Maureen and Henri gave us a warm welcome, which made us feel right at home from the start. It was such a pleasure meeting Jen—she shared some of the history of the place, which made the experience even more special. Jen was incredibly helpful and just wonderful all around. The property had everything we needed—well-stocked and thoughtfully set up—so all we had to bring were our personal items and food. The atmosphere was amazing, peaceful, and welcoming, and the place itself is just beautiful. Highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-cared-for getaway. We enjoyed our stay at Gert's delightful home in Johannesburg. The property is clean, well-maintained, and perfectly suited for a comfortable stay. Although we encountered a minor issue with the lighting, Gert responded promptly and resolved the problem efficiently. We appreciated his attentiveness and commitment to ensuring our stay was seamless. The kitchen is particularly noteworthy, being well-equipped for meal preparation and making our stay feel even more like home. Sorry we had to leave earlier than expected due to some unforeseen circumstances. Overall, we recommend Gert's house for its comfort, cleanliness, and excellent hosting. Great stay, friendly host. Lots to do inside and nearby

Ewald wasn't there himself but he communicated well - I believe he was overseas the weekend we were there. The guy that showed us around was very kind and helpful. We arrived there when the sun had already set so we couldn't see the view but having coffee outside with such a beautiful view was a great start of the day! Before we left on the Sunday, some baboons greeted us from a distance! :D

I had a lovely stay at Lauren's home. As other reviewers have noted, it is such a peaceful, warm place in the middle of the city, with easy uber/car access to everything that you need (I rarely waited more than 2-3 minutes for an uber). The garden area is so peaceful, the home is very well equipped, and Lauren is very responsive and helpful.

We had a lovely stay, no complaints. Anita and her husband were very responsive. We had a barbecue and us ladies couldn’t figure out how to turn on the BBQ stand and Anita’s husband arrived within 5mins to help us out! There was a moment of load shedding and he showed up immediately to turn on the solar before we eben called. The responsiveness made it feel so safe. We felt safe during the entirety of our stay at all hours which we appreciate as we were visiting from Australia so we were super worried before arriving. The house was pristine. The kitchen utensils were thoughtfully selected. Using everything felt so comfortable. We felt right at home and so so so hope that this Airbnb will be available next time we’re back because we will definitely book again! Thank you so much Anita and husband

I loved my stay at Dream before Dawn and would recommend this home when travelling to Pretoria. The home was exactly as described and there were lovely extra touches like fresh fruit and muffins, water and juice bottles, all the bathroom amenities and soaps etc. The host was very proactive and response to my questions, and made sure I had everything I needed.

A lovely, large and well equipped house with garden and pool within walking distance of Parkhurst restaurants and shops. A great place to stay if visiting Joburg - felt very comfortable. Hannah was very professional and friendly and we felt very at home.

Home away from home is the only way to describe this place. Beautifully decor designed inside and outside. Great location, easy to get to places around Johannesburg. The house is clean and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Patrick is an amazing host. Communication was great, always so attentive. Very friendly and welcoming. The highlight for our stay was the braai area. Such a nice hangout place to have as a feature. Looks exactly as described. Definitely booking again in the near future.

Had a wonderful stay here - beautiful space, clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. It had everything we needed, the house didn’t have a hairdryer and once requested for it Pabi made sure to get one for us which was really appreciated! What really made the experience stand out was our host’s warm hospitality, we felt right at home from arrival. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay! I would absolutely return and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

This home was amazing. It exceeded our expectations and my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bob and Belinda were so helpful during our stay and were more than happy to help us out whenever we needed it. I can't recommend this home enough. Perfect location, perfect amenities, perfect rooms and perfect hosts. Honestly, I would love to come back to this house next time I need accomodation in the area.

Our stay at Yana’s beautiful 3-bedroom Airbnb was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The space was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable — even better than the photos. She even kindly had fresh flowers for our stay put in. The living areas were spacious and perfect for relaxing together after a day of exploring. Yana has thought of everything — from a fully stocked kitchen to small, thoughtful touches like fresh coffee, cozy blankets, and local recommendations. The WiFi was strong, and all the amenities worked perfectly. The location was fantastic as well — quiet, safe, and conveniently close to everything we needed, from restaurants and cafes to parks and shopping. Rosebank is only 4 mins away by car. Above all, Yana was an outstanding host — responsive, friendly, and genuinely caring about our experience.
