The place looked exactly like the pictures, super spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the city from the balcony. Sharon went above and beyond! When I mentioned that my wife and I were staying there for our honeymoon, she had a bottle of champagne waiting for us upon our arrival. It was such a thoughtful touch that made us feel special. Everything was spotless, and the location felt very safe and secure with shops just downstairs. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would 100% stay here again!

We loved the place - the area is really great for what we needed and within easy distance of several restaurants and shops. Security was good and we felt safe the entire time. Dieter was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay - great hosts! They have back ups for load shedding. Highly recommend this location.

Mike & Mag are amazing hosts. Was welcomed well by both of them and I had a peaceful stay. I was there just for one night as I was passing through Johannesburg. Will definitely book again.

Really great experience! Sharleen's place is beautiful, well maintained, extremely clean and functional. The place was well thought out and Sharleen's kind spirit and consideration to detail is what makes the place so cosy. I felt at home and in fact wanted to stay longer! Definitely worth the buck! It was also situated close to a shopping complex which made it easy to do groceries. Public transport is also close by. While there, I experienced load shedding which meant the place was pretty dark but Sharleen had one side of the apartment connected to backup power so I could charge my devices and have the lamp and Tv on.

Had a great stay. Place was peaceful and private with lovely views. Meury was a excellent host. She provided extra amenities of pantry items which were very useful and a thoughtful touch. Felt right at home. Thank you for the effort.

We had a wonderful stay at this unique home in Kyalami. The place felt like a private lodge, with quirky decor that added so much charm and character. We especially loved spotting the deer and tortoises roaming around—it gave the whole experience a peaceful, nature-filled vibe. The garden, pool, and outdoor area were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning African sunsets. The 4-bedroom house was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped for a group. Gary, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tranquil, one-of-a-kind getaway close to nature.

I had a lovely stay at Lauren's home. As other reviewers have noted, it is such a peaceful, warm place in the middle of the city, with easy uber/car access to everything that you need (I rarely waited more than 2-3 minutes for an uber). The garden area is so peaceful, the home is very well equipped, and Lauren is very responsive and helpful.

An oasis of calm and peace. A large space as many have mentioned and also a bit dated. That doesn’t take anything away from the experience though. Marie is delightful and proactive with communications. Reaching out when the weather became cold to see if we needed extra blankets was very thoughtful. The gift bags were also a lovely touch. We felt very safe and had everything we needed as well as clear instructions.

From the moment I arrived, Lerato’s warm hospitality made it clear that I was not just a guest in a space, but welcomed into a true home away from home. The flat itself is stunning—cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with everything I could possibly need. The peaceful, upmarket neighborhood offered the perfect escape, and yet I was always just a short drive away from the hustle and bustle of Sandton and Johannesburg’s vibrant city life. What made this experience so memorable, though, was the hosts and staff. Attention to detail, kindness, and dedication to making sure I had everything I needed truly set this place apart. It felt like a place where every guest is not just accommodated, but cared for. It’s rare to feel such a sense of belonging when staying away from home, but I truly did here. I’ve already reserved this amazing home away from home for 2 more stays in 2025.

The place was amazing. If you a home environment that's peaceful, this is the place. Shops and restaurants nearby and a special thank you to Alosi, when the keys fell out of my pocket in an Uber. He responded quickly and came right away. I would definitely book again. Again, thank you Alosi!!!
