Very clean, warm and cosy cottage. Lovely decor and linens. Beautiful setting, pretty gardens. Everything was well appointed. Very handy to the town centre, everything within walking distance. Our hosts checked in with us to ensure we had gotten in OK. We would highly recommend this cottage. We had a wonderful relaxing time.

Stableburn Cottage: Unique off-grid family bach

Wonderful place for a relaxing stay. Absolutely stunning scenery, and such a cosy spot. It was so wonderful to be able to bring our dog, too - he was in heaven running around, and having Sarah be so accommodating with him allowed us to relax even more. Lovely touches throughout like candles, and the fire ready to go if we needed it! The outdoor bath was also a fabulous treat that we thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely be back!

Bonspiel Gold Miner’s Stone Huts

RobertRating, 5 stars1 month ago
3 Kids and I stayed for 2 nights, absolutely loved it. As per description, no luxuries and basic 150year old miners hut but that’s why we stayed. Kids loved paddling with kayaks, panning for gold, biking around paddock and rocks, walking and exploring not to mention lighting the fire, toasting marshmallows and helping cooking/ keep camp tidy. If you are after an authentic, original experience highly recommend. Was a minus 3deg frost but bedding kept us warm. We will try to come back in summer so kids can swim in the weir and have more daylight to explore. Thanks for the Easter eggs, milk and bread too Sue
