It is located 65 km (1 hour 30 minutes) from Kumamoto Airport, 48 km (1 hour 10 minutes) from Kumamoto Station, 50 km (1 hour 17 minutes) from Kumamoto Castle, and 9 km (15 minutes) from Sankaku Station. Oyano City is a 10-minute drive from the villa, and there is a government office, supermarket, restaurant, etc. 25 km to Nagabeda Seabed Road and the ONE PIECE statue in Sinbe. You can also enjoy marine sports such as beach play, fishing, kayaking, and SUP, as you have access to the sea from the premises. Kayaks are available for rent. The living room window overlooks Amakusa Bridge and the triangular harbor. We have an electric stove, chairs and tables for barbecues. We renovated a 160-year-old traditional house in 2023. The total site is 700 tsubo (2300 m ²), and the building is 170 m ², making it very spacious. While it is an 8-minute drive to Kumamoto Castle, it is a cottage where you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. The garden is full of trees and flowers, including a large camphor tree that has been there for over 160 years, black pines, Japanese maples, and bamboo forests, so you can enjoy the trees and flowers in all seasons. The host lives in the adjacent building, so you can feel at home. Take a big, deep breath and refresh yourself from the heart. ●Here’s what you need to know · There are many mosquitoes and insects because there is a garden with many trees. If you don't like insects, it may be difficult to enjoy. The facility is located in a very quiet residential area. Please refrain from having loud conversations in the garden or on the deck after 8 pm.

The house was built in 2005 and has 3 bedrooms but the first floor has been partially renovated in October 2024. There is an outside deck that has panoramic views over famed surfing mecca of Kanegahama beach. Bedding is one queen, one double and two single beds. There is also a futon mattress that can be used if needed (it is not as comfortable as the beds!). As this house is in a residential area, we ask all guests to refrain from making loud noise/music outside, especially after dark.
