Limited to one group per day, so you can have the Mame Shiba dogs all to yourselves during your stay. We also welcome solo guests! It can accommodate a wide range of groups of up to 16 people. There are four rooms in total. This guest house is a renovated 130-year-old house with an open space, where you can have fun with friends until morning, or use it for seminars, sports training camps, etc. Especially if you are a group, you can have fun in the 24-tatami mat room until morning. It's also fun to cook for yourself in the kitchen with a fireplace. From spring to fall, a BBQ, grill, charcoal, and net set can be provided for a fee. In the winter, we have hot pots. You can enjoy it just by bringing your own food and drinks. It's a 3-minute walk to Kusawa Park, and it feels good to take a walk in the morning and evening♪ [Discount for consecutive nights!] It is located in the center of Shimane Prefecture, so it is recommended to stay consecutive nights and use it as a base for your trip! If you are coming by car, it is convenient to get to Matsue Castle and Izumo Taisha Shrine in the east on the San'in Kaido Road, Iwami Ginzan and Mt. Sanbe in the center, and Tsuwano-cho and Hagi in the west. It is also conveniently accessible from Hiroshima via the Hamada Highway. 7-minute walk from Asari Station on the JR San'in Main Line. There are two spacious bedrooms and a dining space in a large Japanese-style room. You can enjoy the Japanese countryside comfortably and at your own pace. We renovated a warehouse built during the Meiji era, creating a private space that retains the atmosphere of the time. It is an interesting inn with ingenuity and taste that the owner himself has carefully added. The village where this inn is located, Ishino, is a quiet village with many buildings that were inhabited by the clan during the time when Ishinomiyama was prosperous. Old and magnificent buildings remain, and it has a unique atmosphere that is not a fishing town, despite being on the sea. It is a quaint town sandwiched between the mountains and the sea. There is a 300-year-old house Kodomo Kagura, which has been designated as an intangible cultural property. Located 5 minutes after getting off the Nima/Ishimi Ginzan Interchange on the San'in Expressway, For sightseeing in the area, you can go by car to Ishimi Ginzan in 15 minutes, Onsen-Tsun in 15 minutes, Kotohama in 10 minutes, Nima Sand Museum in 5 minutes, and Sanbe in 40 minutes.

Take care of the folk city, when you flow slowly in Izumo, and have a little more elegant and luxurious than your daily routine. It is a 3-minute walk from Izumo City Station North Exit, and has good access to Izumo Taisha Shrine, making it the perfect place for sightseeing. Cyclists can store bicycles in the dirt section on the 1st floor of the earthen part of the 1st floor.

Had a wonderful stay! Nakamura-san is very welcoming, warm, and speaks great English, which makes exchanges easy and enjoyable. The accommodation was exactly what I was looking for: quiet, comfortable and very well-equipped. As it is a bit far from the shops, I recommend buying your food in advance: the kitchen on site allows you to prepare everything easily. The activities offered in the surrounding area are really nice, with beautiful hiking trails in the heart of nature. I chose to come to the countryside to disconnect from the city and rest, and this place was perfect for that. I was looking for a place that would remind me of the atmosphere of the movie My Neighbor Totoro by Studio Ghibli… and I was really not disappointed: the accommodation and its environment perfectly match this sweet, poetic and peaceful atmosphere. I loved my stay and would recommend it without hesitation!

Great location if you want to do the Shimanami Kaido the next morning since its very close to the ferry port (although a bit far from the train station). The appartment was clean and quiet at night, only small criticism would be that you dont really have a view (unless you like looking at a different building 3 meters away from you. All in all, for that price definetly a good deal.
