Within walking distance is both Sharsted Wood and Doddington Place Gardens which are great for exploring, plus our local pubs - The Black Lion and The Chequers Inn which are perfect for a spot of lunch or a dinner reservation.

Birchington chalet is 5 minutes walk to the sea or the railway station and the village centre, where you will find all amenities . You’ll love our chalet, it is comfortable airy, has a large walk in shower,a self contained kitchen and secure parking. It is a short walk to Minnis Bay where you can enjoy beach life, then good food and wine while you watch the stunning sunset at The Minnis. We welcome couples, singles, business travellers, cyclists, watersport enthusiasts walkers, and families.

A cosy bed, a toilet, shower, clean towels and a thousand stars over you. Lay in bed turn off the lamps and start counting. Surrounded by fields and orchards, our self contained, detached annexe makes an ideal retreat for a break in the countryside. The property overlooks the paddock where the goats and horses graze. A short drive to the nearby seaside towns of Whitstable and Herne Bay, historical Canterbury and the glorious beaches of East Kent, it is the perfect base to explore the area. A suitable space for families, couples and groups of friends and a great location for walkers, cyclists and sightseers.

Our beach apartment is in a beautiful converted Victorian period house, with it's own private balcony, less than 5 mins walk from Minnis Bay Beach. Birchington Station (10 mins walk) provides good links to London and nearby coastal retreats. There is a parade of shops with a convenience store, fish and chips, cafe and micro pub 2 mins away. The Minnis Bay Brasserie is a 5 min walk away along the promenade. There are great routes for walking/running/cycling in all directions.
