Enjoy nature with a dog in a grown-up hideaway perfect for playing!

ChandlerRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We enjoyed our 2 nights here with our dog. The yard was great for him and it was easy to walk him. The house was super clean and in great condition. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the sun enjoying the view and how peaceful it was. We walked to Cafe MUD and it was very good cafe in a 100 year old building. I also took a run around the area which was good and relaxing. Overall we loved it and will consider coming back in the summer!

Retreat Resort Wild nature, private room and onsen

SarahmarieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Staying with Jun and Kimi at Peace One was the perfect way for us to start our Japan trip, and has already become one of my favorite travel experiences of my life. The guesthouse itself is in a tranquil setting in the forest outside Fujiyoshida. The private onsen was the perfect way to wind down after a long day of walking and exploring. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. We slept well on the futon mattresses. Jun was so flexible and easygoing about getting us to and from town that transportation was never an issue. He also taught us so much about the long history of the region and his research on peaceful indigenous societies before war began in Japan, even going so far as to take us to an ancient shrine near the house. Places like Peace One and people like Jun and Kimi are what travel should be all about. I highly recommend staying here, not just for the place itself but for the experience. “Peace” is certainly a perfect name for this place. I hope to stay here again someday!

【100% Natural Hotspring】 Tsutaya Ryokan Mix Dorm

IvanaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I only stayed one night and was agreeably surprised by how beautiful the place was. I had booked a dormitory bed and it was very specious. Since Onsen was a new thing for me, I only tried the indoor Onsen and loved the experience. The check-in and check-out staffs both were really nice and helped me carry my big luggage up to the stairs. I had a nice stay and would definitely come back another time and also stay longer this time. Thank you.

I stayed at Royal Hokuto on May 4th.Overall, it was a great experience and a place I'd love to stay again. The best things about it were the cleanliness of the accommodation, the convenient location, and the indoor sauna. The room was clean and I had a pleasant time.Being able to relax in the sauna was also a big draw. I'd love to stay again next time!

Nap's listing was a wonderful place to stay during our trip. The atmosphere I'm the room was extremely relaxing and cozy, everything looked just like the pictures. I was surprised how big the bathroom and shower was. I think Nap's place was a perfect place to stay if you want to explore Kofu and the surrounding areas. (also the area downstairs is a bar at night! But surprisingly quiet upstairs.) Needless to say I had a wonderful time staying at Nap's listing. (Highly recommend)
