Shannon is a wonderful host! Kevin(property manager) is super responsive as well! Thank y’all for having me! As for the apartment, I travel for work and work with primarily men. If I had scooped this place up with one of my coworkers, I would have been a bit uncomfortable due to the only bathroom being located in the bedroom. The layout when you walk into the front door is the living room with a couch. There is room for an air mattress in the living room if you moved the couch a bit. Luckily, I didn’t need the air mattress. Then you walk into the bedroom where a full size bed is located. The plug in located near the bed is a bit of a pain(cord/plug falling out)if you’re needing to charge things such as a computer, phone, or tablet. The bathroom is located in this area as well. Then you walk into the kitchen where a washer and dryer are now located beside the fridge and stove. They are just not listed! That was a great surprise since I am here working. Thanks again!

Our stay at Leaning Oaks Ranch in the 1893 farmhouse was absolutely delightful! It's a sweet escape, offering a rustic and quiet retreat. The location, tucked away on a cattle ranch down a dirt road, provided the perfect peaceful atmosphere, yet was still conveniently close to town. We especially loved our mornings sipping coffee on the porch, watching the cows graze nearby. It was a truly unique and charming experience. We also enjoyed drives and walks around the property, spotting cows, deer, jack rabbits, and armadillos! Margaret was a gracious and welcoming host, sharing the fascinating family history of the property with us. Would love to return, especially when the wildflowers are in bloom. Highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking a tranquil and authentic ranch experience!

Great place for family, girls weekend or couples. Quiet, remote, but just under 20 miles to find good places to eat if you don’t want to cook in the well equipped kitchen. Inviting great room and porches with lots of chairs.

We have stayed here several times! It is amazing each visit. April and Jose are the kindest people. They are there if you need them. The location is awesome for hunting. I could see bringing my family back just for a get-away! Can’t say enough great things!

This place was very nice and fit our needs well. We enjoyed the accommodations. The kitchen was a little small and with no dishwasher it made it a little difficult to cook and wash dishes but there were plenty of things to cook with. When you use the oven it makes the place rather warm since its a small space so you need to use the oven and AC units mindfully. Everything was very comfortable otherwise and i would recommend this place to someone visiting Brownwood

Loved Josh’s cabin. Super cool and beautiful views. Got a little rain and it sounded so cool on the metal roof. Super relaxing and scenic!
