The Woodland Hive and Forest Spa

The Woodland Hive is a four-season geodesic glamping dome and outdoor Nordic spa located in a private getaway surrounded by forest on a hobby farm and apiary. The space has an outdoor cooking area with a barbecue, chiminea and yard. Included is a forest spa experience. Soak all of your stress away in the cedar hot tub and relax in the cedar wood-fired sauna. It’s a perfect escape outside of the city, but still close to several attractions along the Fundy coast. Welcome to Meadow Mead Cottage, a tiny house on the edge of our homestead! Meadow Mead is located 1 KM from downtown Sackville yet feels like you're a million miles away. The cottage features a loft with a queen memory foam mattress, a fully stocked kitchenette and a separate composting toilet and hot outdoor shower. The cabin is dry but has refillable water for sinks and is fully electrified. Enjoy panoramic views of the marsh, wood point and Fort Béausajour from the large cedar deck.

We have just added a new heat pump. We offer a 700sq ft loft, it has a new kitchen, new stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots, pans etc. New hardwood flooring throughout loft and ceramic in the bathroom. I bedroom with a queen size bed. A double bed tucked away and a single cot. A newly renovated 4 piece bathroom. A living room with 2 love seat a chair end tables and television. We have added a water cooler and bottled water. We’re 3 minutes from Aboiteau beach.

You can expect complete peace and quiet except the sounds of the breeze, the loons and other forest animals. The dome is the only one on the property, which sits on over 40 acres! Enjoy yourself playing games on the lawn, sitting around a fire at the fire pit, or reading out on the dock.

We are a five minute walk from all downtown amenities (Including the library and the Credit Union Business Center) and a five minute drive from all shops and the hospital in Amherst. Suitable for a couple but ideal for folks in need of a temporary spot to stay if your work brings you this way. A 90 second walk takes you to lovely Curry Park.
