Cabin vacation rentals in Mid-Coast Council

Was attracted to this cabin by the hammocks and the forrest all around the deck. We felt very welcomed walking into the cabin and seeing 2 chocolate brownies and an easter chocolate. The deck was very peaceful during the daytime with plenty of birds and wallabies. Enjpyed the fire in the evenings too. Very relaxing stay all up and felt very grounded. Would love to come back and stay.

We had such an amazing escape here! We drove up and just said "WOW!". The views and jacuzzi take the cabin to the next level. The local wildlife make for such an adventure with the kids, and there is lots to do, despite being so remote. The kids loved playing pool and table tennis at the resort end. Susanne and Dave had everything in the house that we needed and provided the comforts and added extras that just made it all the more thoughtful. Come here prepared to cook all meals or drive into town and grab a meal, even the drive is nice. We loved clocking off from the world and just enjoying our time away from all the busy. Thanks so much for making our stay so memorable :)

The most memorable get away we have ever had. Adorable and comfortable cabin with the most spectacular views. Adults, teens and kids all loved our stay and didn't want to leave. I would highly recommend kylies artists cottage! absolutely beautiful, her sculptures and artworks were even more beautiful and incredible than I could've imagined. Great location, walking distance to town. Very comfy bed, great sleep! Definitely will be returning to this beautiful accommodation!

Bernadette’s place is definitely worth a visit. I had browsed dozens of locations searching for the ideal, private and beautiful location and this was it. Bernadette was very responsive initially and made booking a breeze with flexibility for check in/out time to suit my circumstances. The location is extremely private, with a hot tub that makes the property so worthwhile. Perfect for a romantic weekend with the missus or a family looking to unwind and spend some quality time with one another.

From the minute I booked this beautiful cabin, Karen was an amazing host from the get go. Always helpful and very responsive you couldn’t ask for any better if you tried. The cabin is the perfect getaway, it was quiet, cosy and so homely. The amenities were great and the beds so comfortable. Even though we had a bit of wet weather it still was an enjoyable time. Sitting out on the deck listening to nature just made everything feel at peace, it really is a beautiful place to stay. Would definitely love to go back again.

Suzie is so lovely, the kids loved the pool and we really enjoyed evenings by the outside fire, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

I seriously cannot fault this place! It was beautiful, peaceful, the home itself was gorgeous, large and clean. Helen was so lovely and I loved meeting her horses! My border kelpie loved running around the backyard and saying hello to the horses. There were even treats for her and some towels for her wet feet. I got to enjoy the breakfast hamper whilst taking in the beautiful scenery on the back porch. Went to Diamond and Black Head beaches which were just as serene and not a far drive. Spent my last full day enjoying the rain at the house. Even got to see a shooting star on my last night! I would most definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to get away from the city, unwind and just enjoy the peacefulness of the country. Oh and the shower was amazing! Two shower heads, love love love! Overall, 5 stars and would give more if I could! Will definitely be back as soon as I can, I think I’ve found my special getaway spot! We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful property! The property is nestled at the top of a hill, the breathtaking views and serene atmosphere were everything we hoped for and more! We had kangaroos and cows visited us during our stay, added a special touch to the experience. While the property is a bit tucked away, the host provided very detailed instructions so we had no issues finding it. Just a heads-up: there’s no WiFi, and if you are a Vodafone customer, be prepared to not have access to the internet during your stay. But it gave us a chance to disconnect and enjoy the tranquillity of the place.

Our stay here in Gloucester was peaceful and super relaxing. Dan reached out by email with detailed and easy to understand instructions which made finding the property super easy, even when we arrived late in the evening while it was dark. The property overlooks the hills and the view in the morning is gorgeous. We had clear skies in the evening so we had a perfect view of the stars. The kitchen was fully equipped and we had no issues preparing our meals, the gas bbq outside was also very handy. During the day the local cows walked by to graze and was a fun sight to see from the balcony. Would definitely stay here again Thanks Dan!

Absolutely amazing and tranquil place to get away from the noise of the city and refresh

I'm in love! The cabin is so tranquil and surrounded by nature, it's cozy and warm and really comfortable. Cate provided great instructions and great recommendations for walks, given the location is in Barrington Tops I was super excited to get as much hiking in as possible and it was lovely to get recommendations. No wifi or 5G service which was part of the appeal, so absolutely no excuse not to switch off. The kitchen had everything you needed including a great coffee machine and organic coffee which was a lovely touch. The bed linen was so comfortable and great quality, Cate has really thought about comfort after a long day out in nature. Cate was also just a really lovely human and so nice to chat to, so 5 stars from me. Thank you Cate, I'll be back :)

We had a beautiful and tranquil weekend here. It was absolutely stunning. Of course the highlight were the gorgeous animals who so friendly and approachable and made the trip feel magical. Loved the spa inside the cabin. Bed was really comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a beautiful 4 night stay with our 3 kids (age 7, 9 and 12 we bought a spare foam mattress as we were 5 people staying). Highlights were easy access to the pool which the kids were in 4 times a day, the wildlife and BBQ dinners al fresco. The lack of wifi was a plus for us as we were all needing some screen free time and the ability to let the kids get ‘bored’ so they could make their own fun, which they very much did. The nearest town of Dungog is very cute and we went to the IGA there to top up supplies and get marshmallows for the fire pit. The pies at the bakery there are also very good. Thanks for a great stay we all needed it.

I had a fantastic stay at Dan and Chloe’s cabin! They were incredibly helpful and always responded quickly to any questions. The cabin itself was perfect—peaceful, tidy, and the view of the valley was simply stunning. It felt so luxurious, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. The location was convenient, and I truly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with beautiful surroundings!
