I’m so thankful I picked this location for my holiday break. It is a bit remote but still accessible. The host is very warm, caring, and thoughtful — so much so, I’m staying another six nights. If you’re looking for a place in the deep nature with beautiful views, and a calm soul to host, then this is the location for you. I’ll definitely be back! ♥️

Our stay was fantastic! What you see in the photos is what you get. Ray met us at the airport took us to pick up essentials and introduced us to the local areas of interest. The facilities were clean, bright, private, and beautiful. The location had all the amenities, comfortable beds, spacious air-conditioned bedrooms, full kitchen including farm fresh eggs. The ocean bay & garden views were breathtaking. Seating for lounging was abundant. The secure locale featured a well-maintained pool and an authentic cannon, all definitely worth a look. As Ray will tell you, everything is 10 minutes away from OrenYar. He was kind enough to assist us with errands once we were settled and introduced us to many of the locals & food - ask for the Doubles! As OrenYar is so close to the airport and a stunning Sandy Beach, it’s a great location for your stay in St. Lucia. Ray is what made our stay so memorable. We hated to leave & OrenYar Villa 5 will have a special place in the out hearts.

Hern's hideaway is a lovely place. The yard is spectacular with its beautiful trees and green space. To stay here I would recommend renting a car as it is in the country preferably a SUV as the roads are very worn out...however our rental was small and we managed fine. The apartment offers plenty of privacy, but Herman and Naomi are in the upper part of the house if you need them. There are two bathrooms and plenty of room for big groups. We always had hot showers and the TV and WiFi were on point. Hern's hideaway is definitely a home away from home I look forward to returning one day and will definitely rent this place again.
