Farmstay vacation rentals in Metropolitan City of Messina

Salvo was an excellent host. Always responding and easy to reach. You can find different things to eat in his garden including grapes, herbs and even eggs from his chickens. There was a bit noisy from dogs in the area. You can find a lot of paths around the house, from where you can go to small cities in the mountains. All and all we had a very good stay in Salvo’s house.

We had a really great stay at Lorenzo’s place! It had access to the beach and was very close to town which was great for me as I have a small child end having a supermarket near by is great! Also everything was super clean and nicely decorated all the kitchen supplies I need for cooking were available. I really love staying there and next time we will come to salina I would definitely stay there again!

We had a great time at Pietro's place. Warm welcome. The place at the heart of nature is wonderful... The pool is great... The tomatoes, cucumbers... from the garden are extraordinary. We recommend this wonderful place. Thanks also to the shepherd for his delicious cheese and for his kindness.

This was a very clean and comfortable rental. We decided to stay outside of Taormina so that we had better access for traveling to different towns and it was a great spot to stay. Parking is very hard to come by on the streets so it was nice having private gated parking and to be able to leave the car and walk to dinner if we chose to stay near by. The host was very attentive and available if needed, …we did not need anything since the house was well organized, equipped and had the basic necessities.

Very nice and quiet accommodation with beautiful view of the mountains. On the horizon you can see the sea (15 min. Ride). Very private and secluded. The nice neighbor stopped by to greet us. All in all, a very nice and secluded house with a lot of attention to detail. We felt very comfortable. It is important to know that the house is only accessible from one road, even if several roads lead to the house. The drive may take longer than indicated on maps.

Casa Grande lives up to its photos in real life - not always true these days - it is a beautiful old home. A caretaker is nearby for questions.The property is lovely and full of olive, lemon and orange trees, delightful co-habitants of chickens, turkeys and mules that are maybe half a mile away from the house. The view of Torrenova and the sea is beautiful. The swimming pool is well-maintained. The air temperature was barely in the 70s F but the hardiest of us did swim. There are many verandas and patios-we were hard-pressed to enjoy them all in 2 weeks! It is conveniently located about the same distance from both Palermo or Catania - some of us came and went from each. We were a group of 8 family members and it worked well for us. Any questions were addressed quickly. Daily housekeeping (not Sundays or holidays) was nice - breakfast provided and minimal cleaning. Staff was friendly. We spoke Italian so not sure how English or other languages would be handled.

Such a cute town outside of the busy catania with beautiful landscapes! The host was amazing and so was his place! Wish I could stay here longer

Impossible to describe how beautiful this setting is--the view is just spectacular, the privacy is lovely, and the location (a short car ride up the hill from the port) perfect for going down to the beach, on a boat ride, etc., for the day and then returning to cooler temperatures and total tranquility at the cottage. Car rental was more than expected and there's an extra charge for linens--all completely worth it. We hope to be back!

hosts Stephanie and Gino were both informative and easy to contact. very helpful in notifying on how to get to the place and gave us recommendations for bars, cafeterias and restaurants as well as excursions.

Accommodation ideally located for visiting Taormina, up to the top of Etna ... swimming pool with great views. But a car is essential.

Honestly, we were sad to leave. This place is a gem with all the beautiful nut and fruit trees, and an amazing pool. The room was perfect with a stunning private patio and we made friends with the cutest 16yr old cat. Thanks for everything!

Great stay close to nature, parks and with easy access to main roads to reach Cefalú and other small towns. Very convenient supermarket nearby. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, provided fresh towels and a fully equipped kitchen. We explored small towns like Mistretta, Caronia and Parco dei Nebrodi. Highly recommend and great value for money.

Very good stay at Antonio's cottage. The accommodation was clean. Instructions for accessing the home were clear. The place is peaceful, the view of the lemon trees is very beautiful. Everything is nearby, beach, supermarket, restaurant but accessible only by vehicle. The only negative thing; the pool was closed despite the nice weather. But it was clear on the listing page. Enjoy your stay, I recommend this place to rest and visit this beautiful part of Sicily!

We immediately felt comfortable in the middle of the olive, orange and lemon trees. In the evening you can sleep peacefully to the sound of the many crickets - sometimes you can hear a gecko squeak or bark a dog. If you book the yellow house and are guests on the other side, it can be ringing depending on your consideration. Also, you should be aware not to complain, because there is work here, so it may be that weeds are being burned or mowed early in the morning. It didn't bother us & we'd be happy to come back. Big plus for Italy: A shower with high water pressure! ;-)

We enjoyed stay very very much. Francesco and his family was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was nice and clean and close to the beach. Ideal for family with small child. We especially enjoyed jacuzzi on New Years Eve :).

This little cottage is a gem. We liked its location in the countryside amid olive trees, yet close enough to town and Mt Etna excursions. We encountered unusually windy and rainy weather so we were very grateful for the wood fireplace and cosy feel of the place. Host Marco was always responsive and so very pleasant to deal with. This is a family cottage and it has a very warm and positive feel. Thank you, Marco, for sharing it with us!

As described, the accommodation is in the hostess' house in the middle of a lemon plantation. It is only a few minutes' walk to the beach, the barking neighboring dogs just have to be ignored on the way. The beach is spacious and relatively clean compared to other beaches on the island. It is a gravel and stone beach. The accommodation offered everything you need including additional heating. Everything was neat and clean and very well prepared for us. One bedroom is a walk-through room to the bathroom, but that has also been correctly described. We felt very comfortable. The hostess is very friendly, helpful and always up for a chat. We were even allowed to help ourselves to oranges and lemons on the property. We can only recommend the place. However, if you are looking for proximity to restaurants and shops, it is a 12-minute drive. That wasn't important to us.

We were received in the best way by our host! Very warm, the cottage was very well located facilitating all excursions.

We had a lovely stay at Maria’s Airbnb! The location is absolutely perfect — peaceful yet conveniently close to everything you might need. What truly stood out, though, was the beautiful garden.

Everything is great. The house is very spacious, with everything you need. The garden area and pool are the best. I would definitely come back.

It´s a beautiful Agriturismo with a super nice host. it is very close to Milazzo harbour and has anything you need. Giusi put so much work into renewing an old farmhouse, the place is just gorgeous and full of history and love. We only stayed one night but wished to have a little more time. And yes it is near a main street but we did not mind at all.

Perfect host, beautiful place. We forgot the keys and they resolved the first rule right away
