Cabin vacation rentals in Metro Vancouver

LOVED this gem of a retreat. I mean how can you not love a sauna, kayak, hot tub, fire pit, and a spacious cabin that overlooks port moody. I wish I could stay for a month! And so cool, you take a boat to get to the cabin. I’ve been telling everyone at my work about this place!

This is a hidden gem of peace and tranquility. We loved the patio facing the forest, the hot tub and the fire pit. Everything is tastefully appointed and ready for you to enjoy but make sure you read the description carefully! We didn’t mind, but had not really clued in to the fact that the toilet is not closed off from the rest of the room, or that one has to do a cold/naked/awkward journey from the outdoor shower along the forest strewn deck to get back into the Bunkie. If you are able bodied, not modest and easy to adapt to ladders, close ceilings and tight spaces, you will adore this unique stay! We enjoyed a couple of really restful nights and good days of exploring.

We had such a great time at Carraholly Retreat! The boat ride over was super easy, and the place itself was so cute and cozy. We loved the clean hot tub and spent a lot of time relaxing in the sauna - it was such a treat. Perfect spot for a quick getaway from the city. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape!

This was our first time staying longer than one day in Canada. It was beautiful and peaceful, The Staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't have time to grab groceries our first night and they gave us some Pasta and Spaghetti. The hot tub was also very warm and relaxing. We will be back in the Summer to Kayak and swim for sure!

The place was absolutely amazing, as voiced by the other reviews too. The inside was immaculate, very wood themed and vintage including the utensils, bed, books, everything. It was easy to access, and fun to stay in. Had bonfire on the property and met another couple staying right next to us. The amenities were exactly as stated- got a couple of eggs too, and got to see the hens one early morning. Its secluded but not cut off, vintage pretty and kinda out of the world. Reg was very friendly- gave awesome recommendations, and responded within minutes always. 10/10 would visit again. Ps my partner saw a spider web in a corner of the washroom and freaked so got a laugh out of that as well but no spiders and more importantly no ghosts in this cabin in the woods thankfully 💯💯💯

Cozy cabin not too far from Gibsons. We loved our stay. Steep but short walk down to a lovely quiet beach. We walked down the beach and climbed up some rocks to a lookout and saw orcas! Make sure to bring your own pantry items (olive oil, etc.) and speakers. Would love to return!

The cabin had all of the accommodations we needed. It was nice to be able to have a fire during the cooler hours, and to be able to walk down to the docks. We bought delicious frozen pizza and lasagna from the store for our first night there.

We loved our stay and wished we had planned a longer trip. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We can’t wait to come back.

I have to say that this was probably the most relaxing vacation we've ever had. We swam in the rain, hiked, read, did puzzles, and painted. We cooked together and made the best of the rain. The neighbors didn't seem to be around, so we had this little slice of paradise all to ourselves. The place isdogs friendly, which is a huge plus. I loved the old stove, and we even had our first crayfish. There were lots of huckleberries to pick, so we made huckleberry pancakes. I would recommend this place 100%. We hope to come back for my son's and my birthday in September.

We stayed 2 nights at Alderwood. It was a really nice place to stay and enjoy the farm environment. We brought our dog and it was a really nice friendly place for her to be. I'm sure we will return.

Reg's cabin in the woods was super cute, rustic, and peaceful. Reg provided recommendations for local eateries and things to do around the island. Huge plus that there was a kitchen for us to cook as the food options were pretty limited on Bowen Island. Would recommend Wildwood cabins if you want some solitude for a few days. :)

The suite was perfectly located in Coquitlam, and Quang was a spectacular host. I will be staying here again in the future.

Great place to stay on Bowen. Peaceful, clean, short walk from the Cove and lovely setting. Would recommend for a quiet and relaxing break on Bowen. Shana is super helpful.

Beautiful tiny home cabin in the woods. Very private and cozy. The hosts, Tina and Kyle, left accurate instructions from check in to check out in the cabin. In addition, the instruction package included local suggestions for dining and entertainment. Tina was very friendly and responsive with messages and questions. Looking forward to staying here again as we really didn’t want to leave! Lots of extras - you will have to come and discover for yourself!

We enjoyed our stay in this private, quiet, well furnished and very clean cabin on the Sunshine Coast. The cabin was very well designed and had all the appliances and amenities we needed for our stay. The balcony with a fire table and view of the surrounding trees and water was very relaxing to enjoy in the evening. The heated floor was a very nice touch.

This space was perfection. I did a girls trip here and we felt like we were living in an enchanted fairy garden. No detail was missed and we used every amenity available. There was a fire pit, a river cold plunge, sauna, a big beautiful soak tub, an outdoor patio for dinners and so much more. We will be back!

Sarah's cabin was beyond what we had hoped for. A perfect space for our family of six. The cabin is full of rustic charm while being cozy and comfy. It was outfitted with everything we needed plus more. The multiple outdoor spaces allowed us to enjoy the awesome setting from every angle. We spent much time on the water with our boat, Standup Paddle boards and the kayaks available. Being off the grid took some adjustment but was a healthy thing. We got into board games, shared cooking and exploring the neighbourhood. We'd love to return.
