It is hard to express with words how nice the stay was. I highly recommend it to anyone. The host is so friendly!

Suzie and Abdul could not have been more attentive and welcoming hosts. Their warmth and enthusiasm to introduce you to their home, khamllia vilage, a way of life in the desert and the gnaoa musicians famous in the village goes far and beyond expectations. Know you're in for exceptional hospitality. The hotel itself is built in keeping with the village, while the inside is comfortable, clean and spacious. The breakfasts and dinners are generous and delicious. Suzie and Abdul are more than happy to organise trips to the desert, bike rides and market visits, all of which Id recommend!

The hostel is very Central and conveniently placed. Sand dunes are five minutes away. The place is lovely, work all that you require for a cozy stay. Youssef is more than a super host. He is superb. Go there, relax, enjoy the atmosphere and have fun.

My boyfriend and I stayed only one night in this place, but we totally loved it! One of our favorite accommodations in Morocco! It has this absolutely lovely desert vibe; all the interior decors, shapes, carpets, etc., are chosen so well! Just beautiful! :) Although we arrived quite late, Moha was waiting for us. We really appreciated that it was not a problem to boil some hot water to make the tea in the evening. Everything was very clean and nice. In the morning, a huge breakfast was served to us, we felt like in a restaurant. Moha was very welcoming, polite, and kind. If we ever come back to Hassilabied, we will definitely choose this place again.

Near the road but at the foot of the dunes. A beautiful pool. A very good welcome, the rooms and the well appointed and clean spaces. Good food that differs a little from everyday tagine. It's possible to book a night in the desert. Be made clear if there are musicians. I highly recommend the shepherd's kasbah

My boyfriend and I were more than happy with this place. Everything was perfect: -The attentive and warm staff, impeccable service that lives up to the place -The communication and incredible availability of the Ali host -The beauty and cleanliness of the place, I even took photos to inspire myself from the decoration for my home! -The food was exquisite -THEatmosphere was very relaxing and authentic -THElocation directly at the foot of the dunes (exceptional view from our room, pool and terrace) -THE sublime smell when entering each time We couldn't have asked for a better location to highlight our “baby moon.” We will always be grateful for the wonderful times spent in Merzouga at this Airbnb. Thanks so much! Please note: we absolutely recommend the activities offered from the hotel. For our part, it was the quad bike in the dunes at sunset and the dinner in the Bivouac camp.

The place is paradise! Hard to find a better view. Hotel staff were great!

Hassan was super responsive....We booked the room in the parking lot and he immediately confirmed...Wow! The room was very comfortable, hot water, A/C (absolute must), the dunes were 100m out the backdoor, the pool was refreshing and very welcomed. Incredible value as they provided both an amazing 3 course dinner and buffet style brekkie in the morning. Mohammed our server was especially friendly and accommodating....Thanks for the memories guys!

the apartment is surprisingly large. it has two bedrooms with airconditioners, one large room with kitchen and long sofa, pretty the same as the owner's photos. it's perfect for a group of friends or families. One room has the toilet and the shared bathroom has a squat. chose one as you prefer. There are enough blankets to keep you warm in the winter. Our host, Said, is really kind and asked to provide more if needed. We also got some new cooking tools from him. You can walk to the dunes in 10min and about half an hour to the largest one. It is also close to the street where you can find local foods and stores of fruits, vegetables, etc. Our host Moha showed us the local agriculture and irrigation system, and we tasted the amazing local desert made of wheats and the fruit of palm trees. The most amzaing activities are driving the ATVs for sunset, sand ski and taking the jeep tours through the dunes. You can ask the host for more activities. they are really nice.

apret having slept expensive hassan I can say that the stay is worth it. very welcoming and very nice I recommend. he also offers outings for 1 night or more in the desert all and organized by him and he leaves us the opportunity to leave our belongings in the room even if our stay and finish and also let us take a doush when we return from the desert. I would highly recommend it.

We loved Planet Sahara & can't wait to go back. We are travelling around Morocco for 9 weeks and it was our favourite stay with the best hosts. Mohamed picked us up from the bus station at 8am and took us to the lovely Planet Sahara traditional Berber house which is located on the edge of the Sahara dunes. We had travelled on an overnight bus and he made us breakfast while we had a great hot shower. Mohamed organised a camel trek into the Sahara with overnight stay. Was amazing to achieve this bucket list! Nice room and comfortable bed and very clean. We could have also done a 4x4 trip but didn't have enough time. Mohamed cooked a tagine for us and regularly offered tea and coffee. Also offered to do our washing, great for backpackers like us. We loved it so much we booked another night! Can't wait to go back!

super location, at the gates of the desert, really incredible, wonderful! the place is typical Moroccan, very nice, we ate well and the staff are friendly and helpful. i recommend it for those who want to enjoy a walk in the desert away from tourists.

Great family stay at the Kasbah du berger! We stayed there for a few days in the middle of our road trip. A little break that is both comfortable and very authentic. Mustapha's availability and quality of hospitality touched us very much. Pros: The pool and the sublime view of the dunes. The quality of the bedding. Delicious tagines at a very reasonable price. I agree with a previous comment, don't expect a 5-star European-style hotel but enjoy the authenticity of the hospitality and setting. We'd love to come back!

We enjoyed a lot our stay there. There are many activities that the host can organise for you. They are very flexible and very kind. You can’t be close to the Sahara desert, it’s so magic. I will go back definitely to this place if I travel again to Merzouga

Exceptional! Dithyrambic! A real immersion in the Amazighs. Youness is incredibly kind and thoughtful and thoughtful about cooking. The best meals of our entire stay in Morocco. We ate there on a daily basis. We had brought our wine and we could drink it at the table without any problem. The dunes are a 20 minute walk away. Don't miss the chance to stay here! ❤️❤️❤️
