The cabin was very cozy, a perfect place for a weekend with the girls even when it’s rainy! The hot tub was great as well (although it is uncovered so keep that in mind if the weather is going to be bad while you stay). The restaurants nearby were also amazing. We ate at Daniel’s restaurant and pub as well as the pancake house ( just down the street from the property) and both places were great!

Great place in a small lake community. Has a few smaller beaches that were very quiet and access to a boat ramp if needed. 15 min to town. The house itself was very cozy, though we were fine with 4 adults and 7 kids. Had everything we needed to make it a relaxing cabin-week stay.

Gorgeous spot! We loved everything about the cabin, from the cozy, beautifully furnished and decorated living area, to the fully stocked kitchen, to the cool maps on all the walls! It was a chilly weekend in Sunapee, but we even managed to soak up some sun on the chairs outside. This was the best place for a homey staycation with good friends -- we had everything we needed and felt right at home here in these lovely, peaceful, private digs that make you feel like you're in the middle of the forest (but still only about a 25 minute walk from cute town, plus Cara has a ton recommendations if you're looking for something to do). We will definitely stay here next time we visit NH!

Great place to stay for a few nights. Very remote, but close to a few skiing mountains. Overall amazing stay!!

Being able to stay right on the lake was so nice. The use of the paddle boards and canoe was a bonus.

The log cabin was well-appointed and beautiful. It was lovely, clean, cozy and had everything we could have needed. Greg was friendly and responsive to the few questions that came up. Highly recommend!

We are purchasing a summer place in the area and needed a place to stay while looking. We chose this place based on location and the pictures. The place was exactly as described. The hosts home is located on the property, but we never felt as if we were being watched. The house is really quaint and set back in a lovely wooded area. We were very comfortable and the place was spotless. I even commented to my husband that the shower stall was so bright and shiny. The host Elizabeth was really responsive and was kind enough to let us check in a little earlier and out a little later. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Took my family for a fall getaway to the cabin. Everyone loved it. The room with the lake view was my favorite, although it is definitely a summer room as it does not have windows. Great for big families. Very private and peaceful. You cannot beat a lake side stay. We played Rummikub for 3 hrs one night! Left with many forever memories. Thank you!

Our stay at the cabin was amazing. It was clean and the location was very scenic. Cat was a great host. Will definitely come back next time.

We had a lovely time in this beautifully designed cabin, overlooking a fantastic landscape (it's so nice, this was my second visit).

The cabin was incredibly charming and just what we were looking for in a weekend getaway. We were surprised and delighted by the many amenities and cozy feel immediately upon walking in. The decorations were immaculate and we loved the bird feeder on the back porch that was a perfect start to our morning. We would definitely return in the future!

We booked a last-minute getaway to spend a night by the lake, and this place completely exceeded our expectations. The cabin is brand new, beautifully done, and has such a warm, welcoming feel. The views are incredible—waking up to the lake right outside was just perfect. Everything was spotless and well thought out, making it so easy to settle in and relax. We loved it so much that we’re already planning to come back this summer with family from England to enjoy the lake, the private waterfront, and the kayaks. A perfect spot for families to make memories together. Truly a hidden gem!

Jeff’s home is the perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Gilford NH. We were in town for the Creed concert at Bank NH Pavilion and this home was in perfect proximity. The home is very neat and incredibly comfortable. We did some hiking nearby and it is truly a beautiful and serene place to visit. Jeff provided local recommendations and we enjoyed dinner at Patrick’s Pub. Highly recommend this home!

This was our second time at Harold's camp. We love the charm and history of the cabin and hope it NEVER changes. The location is peaceful, beautiful and has everything you need for your stay. Amanda was an exceptional host, very attentive and friendly. We highly recommend staying at her cabin but be warned....You will find it hard to leave! We hope to be back in 2025, thank you for the memories. 10 Stars! BW

We had a great time! The house was clean and very cute. The walk to beach #5 was really easy and doable with a 2 and 4 year old, but we found beach #4 less crowded and decided to drive over there. Taylor was super responsive. We would stay again!
