Home on the Dix River with Movie Theater & Hot Tub

LindaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
It was perfect for our group of 9 - very spacious and fun. Nicer than any of us expected from the photos. We were in town for a wedding and this was so much better than staying at a hotel! Amanda was quick to respond to questions and even notified us about incoming storms so we would be ready. Overall an excellent experience and I do recommend it if you are in the area.

Pat & Paula's Place

We stayed a week to due tours on the Bourbon trail. The house was in a quiet area right next to a lake with a private dock. It was wonderful. My husband got an out of state fishing license and fished when the evenings were nice. Our pup-kids enjoyed their stay as well. Wi-fi worked well. Big TV with recliners were great after a long day of bourbon tours and tastings. Highly recommend!
A modern living area features a dark leather sofa paired with a sleek side table and two lamps. A wall-mounted television is positioned above a contemporary fireplace. A light-colored rug with geometric patterns covers the floor, creating a comfortable and spacious atmosphere.

Bourbon trail lake house

ShekilaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This place EXCEEDED our expectations! The pictures don’t do it justice. Ryan is an amazing and attentive host. When we had issues with the wi-fi, he was there at a moment’s notice to remediate the issue. Our friends arrived and were wowed at the accommodations! If you’re looking for a quiet, meditative environment—you will love it here!

We truly enjoyed our stay. Everything was very clean and cozy; in fact, “cozy” was what our guests said about the cabin. Incidentally, we had somewhat of a small family reunion during our stay. We will definitely plan another trip. Thank you!

40- Lake & Bourbon Trail Getaway

We had a great time at Edgewater Resort. It was a perfect spot for our group of 28 with several cottages right next to each other. This cottage was nice and clean and the host was very responsive with the couple of minor issues we had when we first arrived. Sleeping arrangements were just what we needed for our family and when the whole group wanted to be together, we had room to set up extra tables and chairs for meals and games. Our one regret was not being able to use the lake/marina due to recent flooding but we hope to return and try again. Very nice place!

Paradise Cottage Enjoy lake Views and Lake Access!

LindaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay was a week at the end of May 2025. The Cicadas were loud and active. The heavy rains and high lake levels caused logs and debris to basically block our dock so we couldn’t use the provided kayaks or paddle boards… just Mother Nature. We did enjoy a couple of bonfires in the evenings with plenty of firewood provided. S’mores were also supplied along with forks. There were a lot of sitting areas on the porch and decks and yard. The cottage was clean with a spacious living room and kitchen, lovely decorated with plenty of dishes and linens supplied. There is a dollar store and an ice-cream store 10 minutes away. All in all our family enjoyed this cottage.
The exterior of a brick home is illuminated at dusk, highlighting landscaping features. Soft outdoor lighting outlines the garden area, with a window glowing softly from within. The metal roof adds a rustic appeal, while fallen leaves suggest the change of seasons.
