Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Mentone

I will first preface my review by saying that my family and I are VERY picky about cleanliness. I usually wear slippers anywhere I stay but India and Desmond’s airbnb was SPOTLESS. It felt like we were the first people to stay there. It’s all about the details too!!! Kitchen was fully stocked and they provided us with generous snacks and coffee. The beds are very comfortable and mattresses feel new. Towels are thick and squeaky clean. The house is perfect for a large family, the fenced in yard and front porch was perfect for my little dog. The game room was perfect for the kids as well! We will most definitely stay here again. Thank you India and Desmond for doing Airbnb the RIGHT way. It’s so appreciated!

We really enjoyed staying at the cabin. The location was private, quiet, and felt safe. We loved the dog that visited; she was so sweet. Our kids loved the zip line and a place to make s’mores. I loved having the hot tub and the birds singing in the morning and evening. There are other cabins close by but we never saw or heard anyone. Just a 40min drive to Chattanooga. We really enjoyed our visit!

We had such a great stay here. Easily the most responsive and helpful hosts we’ve ever encountered. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful quaint airbnb. Well stocked, easy instruction and very cozy.. easy to access all areas of Chat!!!! I would definitely recommend this airbnb!!!

Sharon was extremely friendly and helpful. I noticed she had actually removed the listing availability for the night I wanted to come, so I messaged her asking if it would be OK if I booked and she responded immediately. despite her having a funeral that day, which was why she removed the availability, she worked with my schedule and had the house cleaned and ready for me by 7 PM and gave me a late check out of 5 PM two days later which was very preferred for me and very much appreciated. The house was clean and peaceful. Location was very nice but I can only imagine how beautiful it is when all the foliage is back to life.

Came to town for a graduation, we are a family of 5. We each had enough room to have our own space. The beds were so very comfy, best sleep we’ve had in a while! Peaceful mountain vibe but not far from town. It was what we were looking for! This is actually the 1st time I’ve booked an air bnb, I was very impressed with how responsive and friendly the host was. Would book again if we need to come back to this town!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The View! The place was exactly as described and we loved being able to relax on the porch and enjoy the view. Shannon was a wonderful host!

The cabin was nice and clean. The hosts were friendly when contacted. Had trouble with WIFI. Hosts gave us the password to the cabin across the driveway so that was fine. Good experience overall. We love the large walk-in shower with good water pressure which was a pleasant change for most places we have been. We’d recommend this cabin to a stay at for a couple or small family.

The condo was exactly as listed. We had a great stay. The condo is clean and comfortable. The views are beautiful! Kitchen stocked with all the basics. Close to grocery stores, restaurants and you can be downtown and most attractions in 20 minutes. The mattress may need a rotate & flip there is a dip in the middle.

This was a wonderful apartment and a lot bigger than we expected! It is beautifully decorated and the couches and beds are very comfortable! Loved having the loft for the kids to sleep in, it was a big hit! The apartment was very clean which we appreciate! Joy is very conscientious and made us feel at home! Even helping with our little missteps without complaint! We really appreciated the little flowers and decorations we found around the home made it feel special! There is plenty of parking and the neighborhood is beautiful! We recommend this place to everyone!

My husband and I came up to Chattanooga to spend time with my daughter and son-in-law as well as to see a comedians show. The Airbnb was in lovely surroundings and very peaceful. It felt like we were out in the peaceful woods even though we were minutes away from downtown, the arena where Nate Bargatze performed and multiple restaurants. It is one bedroom and not incredibly spacious but has beautiful outdoor space and is perfect for a private retreat or a quiet getaway. Bonnie was friendly and easily accessible.

Kristi is an admirable host with a kind heart. To say that her properties are magical is an understatement. I wanted to cancel all of my plans & hole myself up in the space to soak it all in. We will be returning in the future to do just that!! I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have stumbled across her property. She made our 4 year anniversary weekend an absolute fairytale. On top of her attention to detail in her magical spaces, the beds are comfy, her checkout instructions are easy, and she is always willing to help with any questions at any time! We will be returning again and again in the future without hesitation. I am already looking forward to my next stay (:

Needed a place to stay for Christmas and this was perfect for our needs. Has everything you need for a quick getaway. Dog friendly which is so helpful!

Sam is a very attentive and helpful host. The location of Sam's place is great - near grocery store, eateries and local attractions. Yet it is also in a pleasant and quiet neighborhood. The inside is very tastefully decorated and well appointed. The back yard is very nice, even though we did not have enough time to fully enjoy it. We had a great time staying here. We will definitely consider staying here if we come to visit Chattanooga again.

My husband and I wanted to get away for our 1 year anniversary and found Dawn's place close to all the hikes we wanted to go to in Fort Payne. Super cute and cozy however I will say if you are older with not so good knees, it will definitely be hard to climb the steep stairs to the bed (even us young folks struggled to get up & down.) Also not many places to lounge inside other than the bed. Couch is small & firm but reasonable for the space inside. Definitely a cute airbnb close enough to Little River Canyon Falls & Desoto State Park!

I was blown away by the beautiful decor and thoughtful amenities at Brian and Kat's home. Every detail was perfect, from the stylish furnishings to the fully equipped kitchen. It was a true home away from home.

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin looked just like the photos. It was nice, clean, and very welcoming. The sunsets off the back porch were stunning. We will definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay! We loved the view from the back porch, on a foggy morning the clouds were low so it totally felt like we were above the clouds and knew why it was called cloudland. We loved watching and listening to a thunderstorm from the screened in porch. The hottub, jacuzzi tub, and Sauna were such great amenities! We will be back !

The cabin was beautiful and clean, the location was very quiet and relaxing. The scenery from the back porch was wonderful too. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to unwind and relax.

Beautiful lake location - the perfect stop over between visits to Chattanooga and Mentone/DeSoto. We wanted a relaxing stay someplace where we could enjoy the outdoors and get a good night's sleep, and that is exactly what we got here. We really enjoyed taking the kayaks for a spin around the lake in the evening and watching the birds from the deck in the morning, and we barely looked at our phones the whole time! It was all very clean, comfortable, and peaceful, and Ashley was very responsive and friendly.
