Our cottage is located on Lake Memphremagog, an international lake shared with Canada. Visit our nearby hobby farm/children’s museum. Kayak, bike or hike to stunning natural settings or take day trips to a variety of interesting destinations, including maple sugar shops, alpaca or dairy farms, golf courses, a ski resort with indoor waterpark; or cross the Canadian border a few miles away and explore Quebec. A boat dock is available for use at our cottage with an access ramp a 1/4 mile away.

Beautiful log wood cottage with a cathedral roof and a wood stove, located right on the shores of Lac Desmarais in Estrie. The dock is the ideal spot for relaxing. The private lake is a protected area (no gas-powered motors allowed) and is brimming with trout and other species of fish each year. A paddle board, canoe and kayak will be at your disposal. This rural cottage has been completely renovated inside for a comfortable and warm stay in the countryside (the exterior still needs a little love, it will be for next year!). Located in the heart of the Eastern Townships, just outside the town of Lac Brome (Knowlton). The property features a beautiful private lake with dock, kayaks, paddleboard and a raft/floating island in the middle. Trails surround the lake, ideal for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking.

The cottage is located near several winter/summer activities: skiing at Owls Head Mountain (7 minutes), golf (10 minutes), Mansonville Beach (8 minutes), Bolton Spa (20 minutes), Magog (30 minutes). The area offers several opportunities for cyclists and hikers.

Beautiful roads and pretty villages nearby (Ayer's Cliff, North Hatley, Magog, Lake Massawippi, Coaticook...). Very nice bike path in the area.
