Vacation rentals in Melrose

Great beach property, very quiet, great views from most windows, cracker views when on upper deck (upstairs), lovely verandahs on both west and east sides - needed in that part of the world. Note that one of the bedrooms with queen bed is only accessible via stairs from outside, the other two are in the main house part. It's an older place that has been renovated; great kitchen (reno), lots of utensils, pots etc, cracker fridge, big TVs everywhere.

We recently spent three nights at Boudaglen and cannot recommend the place enough. It was wonderful. The communication with Bridget was clear, the entry super easy and the place was spotless. Love it Bridget is really thoughtful and had placed bacon, eggs and bread in the fridge for our first breakfast. The house is well-appointed with a Nespresso coffee machine, coffee pods, induction stove and oven. Plenty of plates, bowls, cutlery and utensils. Outside there is a bbq and utensils. It was so quiet, and the stars on a clear night were so amazing that we could see every constellation and the Milky Way. We used the outside fire pit and bought marshmallows at the local IGA in Orroroo for the kids. There is plenty of firewood and kindling to get a fire started easily, both in the lounge and outside in the fire pit. Inside, there are five spacious bedrooms with plenty of quilts, blankets and electric blankets for those colder nights. There are quality products in the bathrooms. 5 stars!

We had a lovely time at Broadview Homestead. Beautiful surroundings, plenty of rooms / beds for the families. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Janet was always helpful.

Great stay clean and tidy had everything amenities wise listed in the description great host I will definitely stay there again and I would highly recommend anyone looking for accommodation in Port Augusta to stay

This is our 3 rd stay at Adam’s place we just can’t get enough it’s absolutely a beautiful location just so peaceful. Looking forward to going back

The old beautiful homestead had all the lovely parts of a big country, family home but with well done modern updates and conveniences. Lots of room for a big family and also great cosy areas. Plenty of wild life (birds, kangaroos, lizards and we were even lucky enough to see a snake - that went on its way quickly). We took advantage of the pizza oven that was easy to use. We would highly recommend!

Loved our stay. The home is a grand old dame from a bygone era. Furnishings were in keeping with the huge rooms. It was a dream to stay in!
