The Black Pearl is a real gem. The house was located in an excellent position, a few minutes walk to to the beautiful square which in the evening is surrounded by wonderful restaurants and bars. The apartment was very quiet but beautifully maintained. The interior was very tastefully renovated but still comfortable. The terrace was a bonus with a great view of the scenic surroundings. We had an amazing stay at this penthouse apartment in St. Paul's Bay! The apartment was spacious and clean, with stunning views of the Mediterranean. The balcony was a great spot for relaxing and enjoying the sunset. The kitchen was well-equipped, with little extras available, making our stay nice and easy. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay.

We had a wonderful stay for a month in a marvellous city. What a fantastic location the apartment is in, right next to the Lower Barrakka Gardens with great views of the Grand Harbour. We took to taking some breakfast and coffee up there. The apartment is also close to the Gozo and Three Cities ferries and the city centre and the bus station are not that many minutes walk away. The apartment was clean and comfortable with everything we needed and good WiFi. It is perhaps missing natural light, but with those gardens next door, that is quite acceptable. Alexiei was so, so helpful. Any questions were rapidly answered and he helped us a lot when our flight back was cancelled. Thank you very much, Alexiei, for a marvellous stay. We are telling all our family and friends about it and hope to come again.

Nice and walkable area to stay, and a cosy / cool property to stay in with a group of friends. We had room for everyone, cooked every day and had a great time. The only thing we struggled with was the water heater for one of the rooms, that didn’t take more than 3 showers of hot water. More than that, the property has all the conditions and the host was always very helpful.

Enjoyed my stay highly recommend, Carmen and her daughter were very friendly and helpful providing a ride to the airport. As well as the location being walkable and quiet😊👍

We loved absolutely everything about this Airbnb! Not only is it super cute but it had everything we needed for our full week stay. We especially loved being able to do laundry. The location was perfect for us… a quick walk to the beautiful Lower Barrakka Gardens and many restaurants. Also, an easy pick up spot for ride share so we didn’t have to walk far at all with our luggage. The area was super peaceful and quiet at night. The host was quick to reply and incredibly friendly! We hope to stay again!

Superb location for exploring the island, very easy to get around and plenty of local options for food. The house was perfect, with literally everything you need to feel at home. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the jacuzzi was a great way to wind down

The place was in a cosy place, easy to find and easy to park location (at least late May - beginning on June when we visited). Clean, comfortable and cute apartment, with all listed amenities. We would definitely choose this place again for our stay. Also, David was very responsive and helpful with everything we needed (not only about the house itself).

We had a great stay at Joe and Lillian's lovely place. They were super-helpful giving us clear instructions and directions, as well as good tips for local places to go. We had one question while we were there and Joe responded straight away. He also took the trouble to call to make sure we were OK after a storm swept over Gozo one day (thankfully the storm didn't stay!). The property is really comfortable and full of character and rustic charm. We loved the upstairs terrace which is a gorgeous sun trap and we also enjoyed spending time in the lovely garden enjoying the afternoon sun. The location is nice and quiet and the village square is within walking distance - in addition to the impressive church it has a few good places to eat drink and have coffee - we tried most of them! We really enjoyed the walk to one of the local bays which Joe had recommended, and all in all really loved our second visit to the island of Gozo.

The host was very responsive and understanding when we asked to move our check-in time earlier, which we really appreciated. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s also well located, close to both the beaches and the city center.

It was a top accommodation. Everything was exactly as described, and David is truly a superhost. I felt at home and would recommend this accommodation to everyone!

We appreciated the use of a washer but we only needed to use the dryer once as there was a clothes rack available and with the hot weather in Gozo the clothes dried in a half day in the house on the rack. Also there were some cooking supplies available and other supplies stocked when we came which made it so much easier when we walked in the door that we didnt have to rush out to buy shopping right away after a long flight. We had a couple of little repairs that had to be done such as plugs for kitchen sink and told Clayton we replaced us and he immediately refunded us the cost which was very nice of him.

Lovely apartment. Amazing environment in the old fort, on top of a mountain with fabulous view. Clean and comfortable! Mariella was very communicative and gave great recommendations. We highly recommend the place!

We loved it, the apartment was large and spacious with two toilets and a large bedroom, a large comfortable bed and a separate bathroom with shower. Quiet neighborhood a few minutes walk to the sea, on the street there are bus stops from where you can go to the ferry and to Valletta , next to there is also a car rental I recommend , also within a few steps there is a good restaurant. Spacious and modern apartment, within walking distance to all the things to do and see in Valletta. There are a few steps to navigate as you enter the apartment but well communicated in the listing. Really enjoyed the convenience, we stayed for only a short trip but there was a washer included which is perfect for longer trips. Highly recommended!

Fantastic location with a fantastic view over the harbor the boat and Villetta in the distance. So glad I didn’t stay in Villetta, which is a zoo, crowded with people and cars. Very comfortable very quiet great neighborhood close to sites and restaurants and easy to get to Villetta on the ferry. Fantastic deck with such a huge view, unfortunately the furniture is very marginal a rusty table, old chairs, and two dirty lounge chairs with no cushions, which is a shame because the deck is nothing short of brilliant. I loved my stay there and would stay again especially if the deck gets a little attention
