A wonderful place up in the mountains of Kyoto. You can feel the city fade away and you are enveloped by the smell of grass and sweet tea. The tea tour was extremely fun and interesting. Daiki has excellent answers to any of your questions, and the tea and food is delicious. I enjoyed it so much that I returned 2 years later. tea moon is a wonderfully restored traditional Japanese house that is cozy clean and quiet. You can wake up with a tea bath and a beautiful view of the fields. I would rate higher if possible. Worth every dollar

I arrived to Toba by ferry without a place to stay. I contacted the host and asked if it was too late to reserve. The host responded immediately confirming it was ok to book. The host greeted me near the roadside when I became lost on bicycle. This place was a great find, the hosts are very kind! I was happy with my one night stay and would stay longer. The air conditioned room provided great rest. The listing said no hot water but the shower had hot water. Safe and secure place for bicycle for the bike touring people.

I enjoyed my stay at Nincha very much. It was very quiet and peaceful yet easy walking distance from the Meitetsu Tokoname station. The place is very close to ‘Yakimono Sanpomichi’: a scenic narrow path where many old chimneys for pottery and traditional houses still exist. The host was friendly and reachable at all time. The Onigiri shop which is part of the same building is an added delight!
