This impressive building was a former music school, which has been renovated and turned into stunning private duplex apartments. This ensemble is more than a century old and has some very typical Belgian features with terraces, gardens, red bricks and metal beams. This beautiful home is very quiet and has a lot of lights flowing in. It comes with a large open kitchen fully equipped, bed linen and towels are provided as well. Digital TV and Wifi are available. Bedroom with king size box-spring. The bookshelves offer a nice choice of travel guides in English and Philosophy readings in Dutch! From there, you can walk to the main square where the weekly (Saturday before 13h00) fresh market is located with a wonderful choice of vegetables, fruits, flowers and other local products. The main train station is also accessible, Brussels and Antwerp are only 20 mn away with direct lines. A place for bikes is available, a local supermarket is also nearby as well as relaxing cafes and restaurants. Finally, the National Airport of Zaventem can be reached in 15 mn by taxi when there is no traffic.

House completely renovated with modern decor and equipped with every comfort. Adjacent to the house is a spacious terrace and garden area. The location near Mechelen (1 of the 6 Flemish art cities) and very central in Belgium (25 km from Antwerp, 25 km from Brussels, 23 km from Leuven and 56 km from Ghent) is definitely an asset. Beautiful cycling routes nearby. 1 bedroom and bathroom with a walk-in shower on the ground floor so accessible to the disabled but no adapted toilets or additional amenities.

This is a beautifully renovated studio on the second floor. The room is nicely decorated. The studio consists of an open kitchen, double bunk bed, living room, terrace and separate bathroom with rain shower. Ideal for 2 to 4 people. The sofa can be converted into a sofa bed. Separate entrance with numerical code. The terrace offers a nice view of the garden of the owners who live in the house next door. The ground floor is occupied. €5/room/night tourist tax Mechelen not included.
