An absolutely perfect base in Deloraine that is remarkably private & secluded whilst being right in the heart of the town. Completely walkable if you want to explore Deloraine, enjoy the river or look for platypus. Also a great spot to stay if you wish to visit Cradle Mountain like us, or follow along for the Tasting Trail. Em was an exceptional host who went above and beyond to welcome us & make us feel right at home. We loved the book of recommendations! The home was thoughtfully designed, furnished & it was super clean. The view was amazing too. A delightful accomodation to stay for a portion of our honeymoon & would highly recommend. Thank you for having us Em!

Sue’s bnb is imaginative and super fun, she’s put so much thought and energy into creating the space. Sue was very generous and let me check in early in bad weather, you don’t often get that kind of hospitality these days! I loved the spa and the massage chair, and the brekky was great. I highly recommend a few nights at Sue’s magical wonderland.

Peter and Susie were the perfect hosts! They were proactive in letting us know that there are no grocery stores or restaurants nearby, so we had plenty of time to buy our own food (however, they offered to cook us dinner). Peter gave us plenty of local recommendations, insider information, when we arrived and they offered excellent hiking tips for Cradle Mountain. The suite was large and in pristine condition. The bed, linens, and pillows were super comfortable (we loved the heating blanket). Lovely toiletries provided and a nice hot shower. We thought the filtered water tap was a fantastic surprise addition. There was also a kettle and fridge in our room, with our personal supply of coffee and tea. The 2 course breakfast was the cherry on top, absolutely delicious. The only downfall, which should not prevent you from running to stay here, is the shower head being a little low and not having the best pressure.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights in Sheffield. The accommodation was very comfortable with tranquil surrounds and walking distance to town centre with lovely cafes and restaurants. Breakfast was a perfect spread highlighted by the freshly baked bread and muffins. Accommodation was very clean, warm and cozy. Highly recommend.

In addition to the detailed accommodation arrangements , the generous individual hampers for breakfast are a splendid point of difference in this real traditional Bed and Breakfast offering .

What a very special, gorgeous cottage to stay in. Julie and Gary have done everything meticulously as they have lovingly restored the stable. There are special little touches everywhere - beautiful linen on the comfortable bed, the fire laid ready to be lit, underfloor heating, warm towels, home made apricot jam and quince jelly along with sourdough bread, cheese and wine. The breakfast goodies in the fridge were yummy. Nothing has been overlooked. It was such a joy to walk in the garden and have Julie show us around. The cottage is in a great location to check out the Tamar Valley and local area. Communication leading up to our stay was really great. Thank you Julie and Gary for being such wonderful and welcoming hosts and for your kindness in letting us share your special cottage.
