Vacation rentals with a fire pit in McKean County

I had a truly wonderful time here and cannot say enough good things about it. The house is utterly charming and was so cozy, especially on these cold, snowy days. I came home to a warm, home cooked meal every day and they made me feel like a member of the family. They truly made my visit to Port Allegany a special one, and I feel so greatful to meet these wonderful people.

2nd stay and it was great! Enjoyed being close to our family and able to host Thanksgiving.

Where do I start? The place is absolutely gorgeous. Spacious doesn’t even describe it. So much room and a very reasonable price. Kitchen, living room, and dining room are huge. The kitchen is laid out so nicely for a large group to hang around and talk. Beds are large and very comfortable. Sleeping was so easy and quiet in the country atmosphere. Bathrooms are absolutely stunning with keeping in the retro style. Basement rec room was perfect for a group get-together to play a game of pool or watch TV. The location is easy to find and offers a beautiful picturesque view of the area. Outdoor area is very inviting and quiet. Downtown area is a short drive away with some very nice restaurants. Definitely would come back to the area again and definitely would stay at this retro oasis!

We had a wonderful stay at Brenda’s place! The property was gorgeous and allowed for our family to enjoy the outdoors together. Brenda was a great host! She was very responsive, kind and helpful!

Jeff’s place was perfect for the opening weekend of rifle season. Minutes from the Allegheny National Forest. Close to the main st of Kane and all the really good restaurants. The house was clean and easy to access. Had everything we needed to prepare breakfast and our lunches for in the woods. It was a good place to come back to after an all day hunt to watch some football and have a few drinks. Jeff was very responsive and reached out to offer recommendations. We will definitely try to be back

This place was excellent to stay at. The entire place was well-furnished, and the kitchen was fully stocked; everything you needed was there. Hot tub and sauna are excellent touches to help with a relaxing getaway.

Remote weekend away. Stream in the front yard so relaxing while sitting in the rocking chair on the front porch. Walking trails on the property. Our German shepherd Milo had the time of his life. Connor’s place provided everything and then some! Will definitely return.

Absolutely loved staying at Bucktail Bend! The property is beautiful and the cabin is so cozy and clean. It is a work in progress but has everything you could possibly need and feels so homey. Connor was super responsive and helpful, he made getting there and getting comfortable so easy. If you're looking to "check out" and just enjoy the quiet, I highly recommend. The forest and the sound of the spring are absolutely awesome. If you're planning a visit in the winter, I'd bring slippers, as the floors are very cold. But that just made it easier to cuddle up on the couch and watch the snow slowly falling outside. Will definitely stay here again!

We stayed here last year at the same time in March. We like the hiking opportunities in the area. awe were also fortunate to get another warm weekend in mid March (same as last year) and managed to get out on a nice trail again this year. Becki is very responsive has prepared a wonderful home for a quiet weekend or a longer stay. We are very likely to continue to return here on a regular basis.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at Lost Woods Cabin. It was very clean, comfortable and cozy with unique and beautiful decor and furnishings. We thank Barry and Diane for their hospitality and for sharing their lovely Lost Woods Cabin with our family. It truly exceeded our expectations!

Loved this peaceful weekend! Very clean and private. The driveway was pretty steep and slippery so definitely need a 4/all wheel drive car but it was easy to find either way the flag by the driveway. Very pretty surroundings loved to drive around on the 4wheeler. Conner was very responsive with anything we needed!

We felt so fortunate to find this spot! It worked out so well for us. The Airbnb is even more spacious in person. Everything is well maintained & very clean & many things to make your stay comfortable. Maria and Sergei were great hosts. Very responsive & very much made us feel welcome & taken care of! Definitely plan on coming back!

Perfection! Quiet weekend stay in a clean, cozy, pet friendly cabin. Soooo many options for walking, places to eat with great recommends, and central to all the outdoor activities in that area. We hiked 12mi without getting in the car, the pup loved being off leash! The trails were high and dry. If parking could be worked out, this would be a great place to snowmobile from, or 4wheeling is 20m away (by trailer). Most important to me this trip was being warm, and this cabin delivered! The heat was responsive and easy to control, we didn't need the fireplace. We had plenty of signal for our phones. Although it took us a minute to find, there are places to charge your phone in the bunk room, and on the bed in the room down stairs, as we forgot the correct cords. I'm so glad I booked this cabin. Highly recommend! I loved our stay in that cozy little cabin.
