Vacation rentals with a fireplace in McCurtain County

Went on a get away weekend with another family and everyone had a great time. The house was just as described. It was extremely clean when we arrived. All amenities from home were there: fully stocked kitchen with tin foil and plastic wrap, all the pot and pans we needed, and all the cooking utensils that made us feel like we were cooking at home. The outdoor area was so nice and well maintained. The hot tub was clean and ready to use. The grill had a full tank of propane AND an extra tank. I always bring a tank of propane on these trips because 3 out of 4 times the tank is n its last leg. Not the case here. The host even provided firewood and a fire starter for the first night and a welcome basket with everything we needed for s’mores. The girls loved it! 10 out of 10 stars. I can’t wait to stay here again.

Shawn was a great host! Extremely proactive and accommodating. Shawn let us know that our original property needed additional cleaning so offered for us to move to a new location to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. He communicated with us before we even left. The cabin is beautiful and very comfortable. Highly recommend both the cabin or any other property owned by Shawn.

Great property. Very well equipped with lots of amenities. We had a small issue with the hot tub, but were quickly put in touch with a local host who explained how to remedy the issue quickly. The cabin was very nice, and we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay at the Hope Floats cabin! The cabin had ample room, amenities and supplies! The owners were always available for questions or concerns and responded quickly. Altogether everything worked flawlessly, the cabin was clean and cozy and we had a blast! Thank you for such an amazing getaway!

We had a great stay! The place is super private and the back patio is really peaceful with the river flowing right behind the house. The host even left us a welcome s’mores kit, which was such a nice touch. The house itself is spacious and clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. While we were there, a technician showed up to fix one of the A/C units—we hadn’t even noticed anything was wrong yet, so it was great to see how quickly the host took care of it. Overall, it was an awesome getaway from the city and we really enjoyed our time there. We’d definitely recommend it! Just a heads-up: the road to the house is a little rough. We had a truck and were fine, but it might be a bit tricky for low-clearance vehicles.
