Beachfront vacation rentals in Mazida Ammos beach

Wir hatten wunderschöne 15 Tage! ☀️ Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön, super modern, komfortabel und alle waren sehr sehr nett! Der Pool war auch super und immer sauber. Nur ein paar Meter Fußweg war ein wunderschöner Strand, wo man auch super frühstücken kann. Um in die nächste Stadt oder an andere Strände zu kommen, braucht man aber einen fahrbaren Untersatz - da hat sich die nette Dame am Empfang auch drum gekümmert und wir wurden abgeholt, um zum Verleih zu kommen und beim abgeben des Quads auch wieder zur Unterkunft gebracht. Alles in allem waren wir rundum zufrieden und wollten gar nicht mehr weg. Vielen Dank für alles! 🤍

Very private, no noise from neighbors. We hardly heard any noise from the traffic as the apartment is not directly on the road. We stayed for a week and spent much time on the incredible balcony: you can always find a space in the shade there. We loved the Galini beach nearby. only downside is that you have to walk for 200 meters along the road, as there is no footpath. There is a private beach closer by, but not everyone will be willing to climb down. It's doable for most people, but it is no walk in the park. If you like solitude, or if the Galini beach is too crowded, then certainly try to go the private beach. The WiFi in the apartment and on the balcony is good enough to stream video to one laptop. We had a tremendous time and certainly will come back some time in the future

Wir haben Ende Mai / Anfang Juni 2025 zwei wundervolle Wochen in dem Haus von Pinelopi verbracht. Es ist alles wie beschrieben! Die Terrasse ist einfach wunderbar und schön im Grünen sowie mit Meerblick. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist zentral und sehr, sehr ruhig. Pinelopi ist eine exzellente Gastgeberin! Wir wurden persönlich und herzlich empfangen. Es standen eine Flasche Olivenöl, Wein und Raki sowie ein ein Teller mit frischen Obst bereit. Darüber hinaus mehrere Flaschen Wasser. Besonders zu erwähnen ist die Sauberkeit. Pinelopi ist jederzeit ansprechbar, darüber hinaus gibt sie unzählige Ausflugs- und Restauranttipps. Fazit: Wir waren rundherum begeistert Nochmals vielen herzlichen Dank.

Wir hatten eine wirklich schöne Zeit und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Eine Minute bis zum Strand, besser gehts nicht. Kann ich nu empfehlen, wer bisschen runterkommen möchte.

A really enjoyable stay at Platankia. It was extremely well equipped and had everything you would need and more, only thing that would help would a microwave - the kids really enjoyed the toys that were in the beach basket and kept them entertained without the need for a TV etc. Be warned wifi is a bit slow but great if you want to disconnect from the Internet for a while. Some really great restaurants, would recommend Vespas for Pizzas and Vitsalo is great for seafood. Everyone in town is extremely friendly and kind and Myrtos is always contactable if you have any other queries. We enjoyed being able to pick oranges and lemons and made enough lemonade to sink a battleship! I really enjoyed the hmock and the slide and swing is great for children. It is extremely private as you have large greenhouses on both sides but at the same time it is super easy to walk into town. Overall I would definitely recommend this place and would come back. The gorge is worth seeing and lots of other stuff

Wir hatten eine phantastische Zeit in Michails Wohnung. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind in der Nähe. Wir waren glücklich und zufrieden. Danke Michail!

great place, perfect for a familh as well. A short walk to the beach and local taverns. A short drive to Agios Nicholas with great shopping and city walking.

The Penthouse apartment was just as described and as the pictures showed. Very modern and clean, and the host and his team were very responsive during the stay. Would definitely stay again, the location is perfect for walking to the beach, restaurants and mini markets, you have everything you need on your doorstep with no need to drive anywhere unless you want to. The only thing missing was mirror’s in the bedrooms for drying hair which would be a really helpful addition. There are mirrors in the bathrooms, but not really suitable for hair drying once the bathroom is all steamed up from a shower. That being said, it would not stop me from returning.

We had a wonderful holiday at the beautiful Villa Cristina! The view is unforgettable, sunrise is especially magical! The Villa has a tranquil setting in the hillside but there is a lovely little seaside village nearby. Liza was very responsive to any requests and helpful with recommendations. We would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time. The villa felt private even though there are two other villas next door. My friends and I loved the pool and how spacious the whole place was. We had stunning views of the nearby sea and town. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. The only negative was the water pressure in the upstairs showers. Nota was very accommodating. She offered to clean the apartment during our stay and helped us arrange our hire cars. (From my group's experience, a car is highly recommended as taxis and public transport weren't great). The village, beaches and restaurants in the area were also great. Overall, my friends and I were very happy with our stay and would definitely come back.

My stay at the beach house in Pachia Ammos felt like stepping into a quiet dream. The house was just as shown in the pictures — and somehow even more beautiful, embraced by the serene rhythm of the sea and the gentle charm of a peaceful neighborhood. Each morning, I woke to the whisper of waves and a view so breathtaking it felt like time stood still. The warmth of the locals made the experience even richer, and our host Marilou was the soul of it all — gracious, generous, and sincerely kind. I left a part of my heart by the shore, and I know I’ll return someday

I was in a challenging situation when my initial booking was cancelled less than 24 hours before check-in. Due to a lung disability, staying in a hotel where smoking is allowed wasn't an option. In urgent need of accommodation, I requested this beautiful house at the last minute. Christine responded within minutes and went above and beyond to meet my needs. The house exceeded all expectations. Christine has created a tranquil haven with exceptional interior design, easy-to-clean tiled floors, and beautifully fitted furniture. Modern amenities, including a washing machine, dishwasher, and state-of-the-art hob, made my stay comfortable. The kitchen has high-quality cookware and spices, showing Christine's thoughtful consideration of her guests' needs. The saltwater pool and provided yoga mats made exercising in the sea breeze a delight. As a solo female traveller, I felt completely safe. Christine’s hospitality and the serene environment made this an ideal retreat- highly recommend it!

Hemos pasado unos días de vacaciones estupendas en este alojamiento. La casa es preciosa y está muy bien equipada. El baño recién reformado y las camas muy cómodas. Perfecta para una familia. Muy cerca de la playa y de varios restaurantes. Es un sitio ideal para descansar y relajarse. Sofia ha sido muy amable y nos ha ayudado en todo momento. ¡Volveremos!

Es war wundervoll, die Jungs und ich fanden am tollsten das Kaminfeuer und den Whirl im Freien, aber auch die schöne ländliche Umgebung und den Sternenhimmel bei Nacht. Sogar selbst gebackenes wurde uns vorbeigebracht. Es waren sehr liebe Gastgeber. Danke.

Perfect little apartment/ bed sit directly over a little dirt track to the beach. Not a private terrace, but that really doesn’t matter as very few cars. We sat outside with a drink or play cards most evening after a day walking and sightseeing. There are sun beds to use at the property which we would take over to the beach. The sunsets were amazing. There is a restaurant next door, which was ok to eat at(it didn’t cause noise) . Lots of lovely restaurants around the next bay, 10 minutes walk. The bed was very comfortable, this was important to me🤗 . The hosts were very kind and helpful, checking via messages that everything was ok. We plan to go again and would recommend the area, hosts and their accommodation.

Εξαιρετικός ο Νικόλαος ως οικοδεσπότης. Ηταν πάντα διαθέσιμος. Πολυ φιλικός. Πολύ εξυπηρετικός. Το διαμέρισμα είναι όπως φαίνεται στις φωτογραφίες. Εύκολη πρόσβαση με τα πόδια στο κέντρο της Σητειας. Η θέα από την εισοδο του σπιτιού είναι πολύ όμορφη καθώς βλέπει θάλασσα!

Excellent location, right in the city centre and lots of restaurants within a stones throw. Fabulous balcony with a view over the harbour and out to sea.Flat was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. There are some steep stairs to access the flat so not the right place for anyone with mobility issues but fine for most others.

This is such a great place to stay in AN. Eleftheria met us on arrival and made us feel like family. Their property is pristine and with great lounge, kitchen and dining overlooking the marina. In 5 mins walk you are wherever you want to get to in the local area. There is a sheltered beach within walking distance. A gorgeous town and well appointed place to stay. Absolutely recommend

Was für ein fantastischer Urlaub. Wir waren für vier Nächte zu viert in diesem Haus. Die erste Befürchtung, dass die Straße 150 m entfernt stören könnte, hat sich nicht bestätigt. Es waren nur in der Früh ein paar mehr Autos unterwegs, im Haus ist davon aber nichts zu hören. Das Frühstück auf der großen Terrasse war wunderbar. Die Gastfreundschaft von Manos war unübertrefflich. Er ist immer erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Er hatte sogar für das Wichtigste gesorgt wie Wasser, Kaffee, Tee, Olivenöl, usw. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet WLAN, Sonnenschirm, Strandliegen. Frisches Obst vom Baum vor dem Haus und Bio-Eier der eigenen Hühner. Ein Juwel ist der kleine Strand direkt vor dem Grundstück. Uneinsichtig, toller Sand und Meerzugang. Im Ort gibt es Supermärkte, Strand-Tavernen, Bäckerei. Eine tolle Wanderung direkt vom Haus von kurz bis zu 4 Stunden und wird mit einem versteckten Wasserfall zum Baden belohnt. Sehr empfehlenswert für kurze und lange Aufenthalte Vielen Dank

What a beautiful and special place! We had gorgeous views for sunrises/sunsets and it was a more quiet/relaxing place stop for our extended trip in Crete. We experienced quite a bit while we were there-Spinalonga, Elounda, Kolokithia beach (go early at 7-8 before the boats come in), Agio Nikolas(get the goat’s milk frozen yogurt) and we hiked to the windmill farm(8-10 miles) and went to the Plaka beach(bring water shoes). Lily was so helpful and pleasant and the place was perfect for our needs! Oh and we loved the food at Porta and Carob Tree;they seem touristy but the staff were pleasant (not pushy) and the food was fantastic. I hope we can come back one day!! ❤️❤️❤️

Wir waren mit unserem 5 Monate alten Baby da und es war einfach perfekt für uns zum Entspannen und uns mit unserem Kleinen zu beschäftigen. Das Meer ist direkt vorm Fenster und man kann den ganzen Tag und die Nacht das Meeresrauschen und den tollen Anblick genießen. Es gibt einen wunderbaren, kleinen Strand, den nur wenige Menschen besuchen. Beim Schnorcheln sah ich viele Fische, darunter sogar Rotfeuerfische und einen Oktopus. Die Unterkuft entspricht genau der Beschreibung, dazu gibt es nichts weiter zu sagen, alles super. In der selben Straße gibt es zwei kleine Supermärkte mit allem was man braucht, eine Apotheke, ein Café, eine Bäckerei und auch eine Tankstelle und eine kleine Taverne. In den Nachbarorten östlich und westlich gibt es eine Menge toller Restaurents. Besonders schön fanden wir Makry Gialos im Osten, ein authentisches kleines Fischerdorf, empfehelnswert für Gyros-Fans: Grillhouse Makis. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert, wenn man es authentisch und entspannt mag.

Es war gemütlich und erholsam. Das Glas von der Kaffeekanne hatte einen Sprung. Ich habe Bescheid gegeben und uns wurde sofort eine neue Kanne gebracht. Danke dafür und für die nette Unterkunft
