Adorable cabin in the countryside

Bluebird Cottage is a quaint little haven 8km from Westport town. Its off the beaten track a little, and if you like that sort of thing and the only sounds will be mother nature's animals and birds calling out to each other in the surrounding countryside. It's a 10min drive to Westport, 1 hour to Knock Airport, Achill, Galway city and Connemara with an abundance of activates / shopping / dining on the doorstep. So we are very centrally located in the West. Peace and Tranquillity Ahoy!

i have never had the urge to rebook a trip so quickly. fernwood is a really special experience that cannot be missed. the intentional design of the studio and lakeside sauna made me feel like i was on another planet. if you see the listing available, book it. it’s not to be missed.

From the drive up we knew we were in for something special. The pods are perfectly located fronting a sea view with Downpatrick Head clearly visible. The pod was clean and had all the amenities you needed including a modern TV and good WiFi. The beds were comfortable and cosy. There was plenty of space for the 3 of us. The location is so peaceful, with short walks available along the sea front. The firepit hut was a lovely space and was perfect for roasting marshmallows on a wet evening. We loved our time here and wished we could have stayed longer. We hope to come back again soon.
