Modern solid wood chalet | Spa•fire pit•nature

MitchellRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Just stayed here for a birthday weekend and I couldn’t recommend this place more! They made it nice and easy to understand everything, responding with a timely manner, always there for extra questions if you need. The place was absolutely amazing! Amazing view by the water, nice fire area to settle down by and plenty of wood that they generously let you use. Even though it was raining for most of the weekend we were there, it never felt like we didn’t have something to do. Spend hours playing pool, chatting in the hot tub or even playing games that they provided. Never felt more at home at an airbnb, would definitely return and spend plenty more getaway weekends here. Thank you for having us!

Le Whiskey Mountain

HosseinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed at this place for two nights and had a good experience overall. The cottage was modern in design and was given to us clean and tidy. However, we encountered two issues. First, the house did not have laundry detergent and paper towels, which could be easily addressed. More importantly, the cottage does not have direct access to the lake. It is located on the upper side of the road, while the lake is on the lower side. To reach the lake, you need to cross the road and go through another property. This was not what we expected based on the photos, as the road was not shown in them.

Very good and beautiful stay at Emmanuel's chalet. Especially since dogs are allowed which is really much appreciated. A real pleasure of healing and fullness. Chalet with rustic decor that immerses us perfectly in the atmosphere. The corner of the outdoor fire perfect for enjoying getting around under the stars. And the spa with the river view is the highlight of the show! We recommend eyes closed.

Fantastic cabin retreat in the fall for visiting family in the area. The river is beautiful and accessible from the dock. The stairs to the dock need repair but we were able to enjoy non-the-less. Superb rental! We hope to return someday!

Great 2-night stay at the Le Semeur cottage! The cottage is pleasant, well-equipped, close to the shops of St-Élie-de-Caxton on foot. The nights were very quiet and peaceful, waking up to snow-covered trees is a real pleasure! We were greeted by Jean, excellent advisor for walks in the area! Thank you!

I wish that the cabin had been available for a longer duration during our availability. I can see this as being a great place to get away from the city to relax. Real log cabin feel and smell of wood walls, so clean and de-cluttered. I can see evenings spent playing cards and listening to the forest sounds. Very relaxing.

Off Grid Log Cabin, 100 acres

Great adventure camping spot. My partner and I have been twice now. Both times in February when it is snowy and peaceful. We enjoyed the snowshoeing trails and the sauna. I highly recommend reading the survival guide to help prepare for the visit. Our host was very communicative and gave us lots of helpful details. We liked our visit and intend to return.

Andrew's place is great! Everything is as advertised! We had enough wood for our 2 nights there! Communication with Andrew is really simple and he is very responsive! There are neighboring cottages but there is no overlooking when you are on Andrew's property! We were amazed by the beauty of the place! It's very quiet, very relaxing, nothing better for a weekend away! We didn't want for anything in the chalet either! So thank you again for everything Andrew!!

POD #1 - for 2 people in the heart of nature!

Marie-JoelleRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Very nice first experience in this type of accommodation, despite the rain for almost the entire stay! We recommend it. Guaranteed pleasure for canoeing and fishing on the lake and good opportunities for hiking in the forest. Note that the descent for rowboats is at a different location than the pod site (allow for additional travel time if applicable for you).

Le Shack à Momo

WoW really beautiful. The host responds very quickly to our questions. The cottage is ultra-equipped, really easy to use. The instructions on the equipment are really precise. It lacks nothing in terms of cooking utensils, dishes, pots, pans, etc. The towels are in incredible quantities. Paper towels, toilet paper, household items, soap, etc. We had a great time and will definitely go back. For check-in, my instructions are clear with all the required door and WiFi codes. This place is a little paradise. The Spa, the sauna, the double whirlpool bath. OMG, everything was perfect. Thank you very much Jonathan for this beautiful home. I even told my spouse that I was renting a house like yours. Thank you so much. There were 10 of us and we had all the space we needed.
The cabin's exterior, constructed of logs, features a welcoming porch with rustic decor including tools and a wooden shield. Surrounded by tall trees and greenery, the structure is complemented by a large flat stone and a canoe resting nearby.

We had a great weekend with friends at this cottage just by the lake. We had a little trouble finding the entrance to the path since we arrived at night but otherwise, the cottage was spotless! The walk on the lake with the kayaks was very pleasant, the BBQ was very efficient for our grills and the hot tub much appreciated! Joanie was very responsive and helpful on a setback very quickly. Thank you so much for hosting us, we highly recommend this experience:)

Beautiful location by the lake. Cross-country skiing, hiking, skating, snowmobiling. Several things to do. Near the village. The base of on-site kitchen items. However , no toiletries (dryer, soap). Hard to turn on SS fireplace. Only 2 parking lots. Everything was clean and we really enjoyed our stay.
