Log cabin Hömötintti

A log cabin built in 1996 on Kontiolahti Pöllönvaara. There is a steep path (60 m long) that leads to the shore of the clear water Likolampi. There is a sauna completed in 2024 along the path. The cottage has a fireplace and a wood stove. There is no electricity or tap in the cabin. In addition to natural light, candles are illuminated. There's a cabin and kitchen downstairs, as well as a sleeping chamber. There are more beds in the spacious loft. The outdoor kitchen in the yard has a gas stove. There is also a firepit and benches outside. There is a rowing boat on the shore of Likolampi.

Rantamökki

Amazing sauna cabin (floor area about 39 square meters) by the clear-water Valkealampi! There can be four people staying overnight. The cottage has a sandy beach , in winter an opening. You can fish in the pond or fish in the summer. You can take a dip in the lovely steam of the wood sauna. Relax in the peace of nature. Nearby there are, for example, Kontiolahti ski slopes and trails, a biathlon stadium, Paihola's disc golf course, a summer cafe (about 6 km), Pielisjoki and Joensuu (21km) and Kolin National Park (about 54km) services and activities!

A spacious and bright apartment next to the market square, with a balcony overlooking the market square and in summer another balcony overlooking the large backyard. Shops and services are nearby, as are public transport bus stops. The size of the building's end apartment is 113m2, with 3 separate bedrooms (1hh, 2hh, 2hh), a small kitchen, a dining area, a large living room, a bathroom/toilet and a small separate toilet. The apartment is also suitable for a larger group or a family with children looking for a peaceful place to rest.

Fall in love with the stunning landscape that surrounds this place to stay. The villa is located on the shore of the Sirkkalampi by the beautiful clear water. It's about 17km from downtown. The cottage has running cold and hot water. The water is drinkable. Also an indoor toilet and shower. Wood sauna with a beautiful view of the pond. There are kitchen furnishings like a refrigerator, freezer, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, water, and coffee maker. There's also a washer. Sunlight comes to the cabin throughout the day.

Villa Myyry villa on the shore of Pielisjoki

Villa Myyry is a cozy and well-equipped villa on the shores of Pielisjoki in the village of Paihola, Kontiolahti. The villa has 77 m downstairs and a large loft. The location is in a quiet rural environment.  The driveway is right up to the door and there is plenty of parking space in the yard. Allergy-friendly, pets are prohibited. You can access the cycling trail directly from the yard or go snowshoeing on the ice of Pielisjoki. The ski resort Kontiolahti Biathlon is about 10 km away. The landlord lives next door.

Alapiha Arboretum Guesthouse and Sauna

Cozy guesthouse and sauna in a wild tree sport park. The area has about 250 different varieties of woody trees and shrubs on two acres. The tree was planted in 1970 and forms its own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is partly still in a natural state and the area is undergoing renovation. For those interested, the arboretum will be gladly introduced during the visit. The house crowd includes two lapin reindeer dogs, a cat, a rooster, and 6 hens. Breakfast on-demand

Villa LHJ Heinämäki

Villa was build 1999-2000 as a second home from the family with basic facilities criteria for everyday living. Basic principle was to have a place to calm down but also a house for remote work in home village. Place is pretty nice on top of the hill, scenery is wide almost all over ... tens of kilometers. Style is rustic with a light twist of retro functionalism. Now we have moved 200m, on the opposite side of the road, and we offer Villa for our quest. Your sincerely Leena & Juha

Kelo cottage on the shore of Nivankoski.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, thanks to its peaceful location and proximity to nature. You can practice whitewater fishing or kayaking directly from the beach of this cottage. The cottage also has a direct connection to Saimaa's Pyhäselkä, which starts just a rowing trip away. The wood sauna offers delicious steam. The cabin has running water to the sink, a double-plate electric stove, a fridge, electric lights and an air heat pump that provide basic comfort.
