Vacation rentals in Matsuzaki, Kamo District

It's really a surprise!This is the best homestay I have ever😭 stayed in Japan. Although it's a bit tiring to climb up the hill, everything is worth it after entering the villa. The host prepared a lot of beautiful supplies, as well as a lot of ingredients and gifts. All the details are perfect.The private bath is much bigger than it looks in the photos, you don't even have to go out, and it's a lot more cost-effective than a hot spring hotel that costs thousands.The host is also very friendly and communicative.You will fall in love with Hakone because of a homestay, and the conclusion is: I will come back next time!

I am not really sure what to say that's different than what other reviews that have been posted - but Hillary's place was simply magical. So thoughtfully and beautifully designed, down to every detail... the smell of jasmine growing, to the vintage Japanese record playing in the background - It was less a place to stay, but more of an experience! The bath was divine. We just loved our stay. It's a bit out of the way, and definitely requires some fitness to get up the steps (pack light!) but once you're there, you don't want to leave anyway.

Cozy and comfortable place with an amazing location. Also came with a complimentary ticket for the hot spring near the place. Host was very accommodating and kind.

We stayed at Billy's over the Sept long weekend.We were a group of 6 & in Japan its still a struggle to find places that allows dogs. It was really close to our favourite beach, which is within walkable distance.The place is nicely furnished and was very comfortable to stay.Our group loves a bit of vino and were thoroughly impressed by the selection of glassware at Billy's place.The kitchen is fully equipped,so we had breakfast at home every day before heading to the beach.There is a kettle BBQ but unfortunately we couldnt use it as the grill was a bit rusty.Luckily we had brought our portable BBQ so we were able to thoroughly enjoy the deck.The bluetooth speaker made our BBQ even more enjoyable.The beds and linens were clean and are of good quality, so we were able to get a good night sleep. Since we were coming from tokyo, Billy was kind enough to offer friday night for a discount.This avoided a painful traffic filled drive on Sat morning. Also, he gave us late checkout on Monday.

This is my second time staying at this Airbnb, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. The place is consistently clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. The bed is super comfortable, the Wi-Fi is fast and reliable (perfect for working remotely), and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a short or extended stay. What I appreciate most is the host's attention to detail and warm hospitality. Check-in was smooth, communication was prompt, and they went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. The location is also a huge plus it safe, quiet, and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and key attractions. It’s rare to find a place that offers this level of quality and service at such a great value. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area. You won’t be disappointed. I loved the stay here! Right next to were you get on the ropeway and the ferry. The place was very clean and the bathroom was amazing!

This is the best homestay I have recently stayed in, the house is tidy, the view is beautiful, easy to cook, suitable for gatherings, the movement design and lighting design inside the building is perfect.

Very cool spot right on the beach. The house was clean and a great location. Awesome pizza downstairs too! Loved this stay on the izu peninsula.

I stayed for two nights during the New Year holidays It says there are only large plates, but The table was large, so there was no problem There was an earthenware pot and a cassette stove I should have asked (I brought it) I recommend it because it's a comfortable home I was in a hurry to check out I didn't get to say goodbye to Rolf Sorry about that Thanks for your hospitality Thank you
