There are several Boutique hotels with bars and restaurants within walking distance of the villa. The villa has a lovely homely feel and the place is ideal for couples or families.

Villa Forodhani is a historic, recently restored spice traders' residence at the waterfront in Stone Town, Zanzibar. Dating to around 1850, it forms part of the old sultan palace complex.
