Forest Floor Guesthouse

The lower level of our Jewel Lake Home with a separate entry, and fun backyard. This is a recent remodel; an eclectic space with vintage wood ceilings and a blend of industrial+ modern detailing. We are 5 minute drive from the airport, and guests can enjoy Alaskan wilderness right from this space. A forested trail system lies right behind our house for walking and biking. Guests may collect eggs from our chickens, use our forest-side hot tub, stoke the firepit, or use paddle boards at Sand Lake.

If you're looking for a peaceful get-away just 15 minutes from the Anchorage airport, you found it! Our home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful trees and a creek happily running right through the backyard. The apartment entrance is off your private patio with creekside hot tub. The decor is modern with a nod to rustic Alaska! It’s stocked with everything you need and we’re close to lots of restaurants and shopping, but we hope you feel “away from it all” at our Peaceful Creek!

Pat may greet you on arrival & is always happy to share his love of Alaska & local insights. Ron’s Knik Glacier Views is a brand-new private guest suite with spectacular views of the Knik Glacier and River. Includes 120-acres of Alaskan wilderness with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, living room, sleeps 6. The accommodations include a walk out, wrap-around balcony. The 1250 sqft suite is the entire 2nd floor of my home. It is accessed by its own staircase and balcony. A 3-mile hiking trail takes you to 5500 ft. This spacious lower level is a daylight basement perfect for families traveling with children. Placed in the middle of two acres the home is surrounded by manicured yards, gardens, beautiful mountain peaks, and plenty of country quiet. Yard is open for play, or walking, as is the basketball court. There are swings hanging in car port and a cowboy grill for campfires in the spring and fall. Located four miles from Palmer this home and yards are sure to please.

Clean 750 square foot Mother-In-Law apartment located in beautiful Palmer, Alaska. This apartment is located above a two car garage and has it's own entrance and complete privacy, while being attached to the main house. Views from the bedroom, living room and kitchen are unbeatable. Three miles to downtown Palmer as well as the Glenn Hwy and Palmer/Wasilla Hwy, and Alaska State Fairgrounds. Guest parking available directly next to entrance stairs.

Behind your interior “front door” is your Queen bed; TV room; kitchenette; and bathroom with tiled walk-in shower and the best backside feature ever: heated bidet toilet. I live and work upstairs. There's plenty of space for all.
