Vacation rentals in Masurian Canal

Wir waren zu Dritt (2 Erwachsene, 1 Teenager) plus Hund in Danutas wunderbarem Blockhaus. Es ist noch viel schöner dort als auf den Fotos ersichtlich. Danutas Mann und Haushund Nora haben uns bei Ankunft sofort sehr freundlich willkommen geheißen. Die Unterkunft wurde gezeigt und die wichtigsten Infos ausgetauscht. Das Blockhaus ist einfach, aber es ist alles soweit vorhanden für einen angenehmen Urlaub. Nur unser Teenager hat ein wenig gelitten, weil das Wlan leider sehr schlecht war. Aber wer braucht schon Wlan, wenn man einen traumhaften See vor der Tür hat. Dieser ist sehr ruhig und das Wasser war angenehm warm als wir Mitte Juli dort waren. Die private Wiese am See hatten wir die meiste Zeit nur für uns. Toll war auch, dass kaum Mosquitos da waren. Die Umgebung bietet sehr viel Natur und Entspannung, aber auch für Ausflüge und Sightseeing sind genug Möglichkeiten vorhanden. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Danke für den tollen Urlaub!

A fantastic stay! We were 4 adults, 1 child and an infant/toddler and we were all very comfortable in the cabin. Waldek had a high chair and a cot ready for us which was so convenient. He also provided a baby bath on our request but actually the shower is lovely and deep (doubles as a foot bath) so we used that for our toddler instead, which was brill! A wonderful playground with slides, swings and a huge sandpit was literally in our doorstep and there was tons for kids to do..trampoline, zip line, hammocks, swings, bicycles and a fuzz ball machine. (A boat and a pedalo was there for use but we didn’t use them). Waldek recommend a few local places and its 5mins by car into Mikolajki. Me and my husband took a lovely stroll of about 20mins (1km) to find the infamous “down the rabbit hole” (krolicza nora) bar and gallery that Waldek recommended. It was a fun adventure following the rabbit signs and we were not disappointed! Great food and beer in an absolutely gorgeous setting..total middle of no where! Fabulous ;) (in hind sight we could have cycled using the bikes at the camp site!) Totally recommend for families and small kids, fenced in, safe, plenty to do for kids. Ktokolwiek marzy lub ma potrzebę wyciszenia, z dala od zgiełku, znajdzie to właśnie w " Domku na końcu świata". Miejsce ze wspaniałą energią i duszą. Serdeczne podziękowania dla Krisa i jego mamy!

Прекрасный домик на берегу озера. Чудесные, отзывчивые хозяева которые всегда на связи. Дом чистый, уютный, был полностью укомплектован всем необходимым для хорошего отдыха.

Die Unterkunft von Thomas ist eine dieser seltenen Juwelen, die mensch eigentlich lieber für sich als Geheimtipp bewahrt, weil es so schön ist. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht ist hier goldrichtig, wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und hatten bereits auf dem Heimweg, den Wunsch so schnell wie möglich zurückzukommen.

Thank you very much for a great stay! We enjoyed our stay here. It has a great view of the lake, great green lanes, a barbeque zone, and a comfortable queen-size bed on the second floor with good sofas on the ground floor. The street is really peaceful and cozy. In 20 minutes walk, you can reach big supermarkets and the city center of Mragowo, which has a great big lake and small yachts. Inside the house and especially the kitchen, you can find almost everything you need (maybe because it was somebody's home – not just a house for rent). We had 5 adults (2+2+1), which was super private for each of us in a separate room. The city and house has great location if you travel around Mazury and want visit cities and castles in 30-50 minutes drive. The only thing I should mention – it's not a fancy new modern house (if this is important to you) – it's more like middle-age vacation house (but we enjoyed it anyway and had a perfect family trip for a few days here). Totally recommend. Thank you!

Wyjątkowe, klimatyczne miejsce! Piękny, komfortowy i czysty, w pełni wyposażony domek położony w niezwykle malowniczym miejscu na ogromnej ogrodzonej działce, idealny dla osób, które szukają odpoczynku i kontaktu z naturą. Doskonała okolica do spacerów, zwłaszcza z pupilem, przy tym szybki dojazd do centrum Mrągowa. Gospodarz Gosia służyła pomocą na każdym etapie pobytu, szybko odpowiadając na pytania i rozwiewając wątpliwości. Serdecznie polecamy, to był doskonały wybór :)
