Vacation rentals with lake access in Mashpee

We loved Joe's place. The house is located in a clean, quiet and spacious community within reasonable drives to areas of Cape Cod that matter. Both Joe and Steven are amazing hosts. They treat you like friends, always willing to offer local advice. We had an issue that required Joe to come over to take a look and he was over in minutes. We definitely consider coming back next year.

Marla's vacation home was very lovely. We liked the pictures of her place, but once we arrived we realized that she had remodeled a number of rooms. Each room was updated, very clean and cozy. Marla has made sure that her place is stocked with all of the large and small conveniences that guests would want in a home away from home. The location and the surroundings are stunning, especially with the Fall foliage. One can tell that Marla takes great pride in her beautiful rental. -Mark & Susan G

What a cool spot! Stayed a couple nights with friends for a "Book Retreat" and had the best time reading in the Hammock, chatting by the fire pit, and cooking together in the kitchen.

Tracy was extremely responsive and her home comfortably hosted our party of 14 with its spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and living space. The yard games and water sport equipment was icing on the cake with the property being a very walkable distance from the pond.

The house was as advertised. In a nice quiet area. The house was well set up and as advertised. We felt right at home for the weekend.

This property was stunning! As described. Brenda was extremely responsive to messages. My family appreciated the labeling she had done, it made everything very easy to find. Anything you could want this place has it, from super comfortable beds, tons of space, clean, and beautiful views! We will definitely be back!

Tam is an excellent host. The lake is picturesque and peaceful. The property is nestled between mature evergreen trees. The house is newly renovated, light, white, bright. Kitchen is spacious and well-equipped. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are clean. Lots of cleaning supplies. Tam was an exceptional communicator and very friendly. Appreciate the time!

We have stayed in quite a few airbnb’s and this is by far one of our favorites!! The pictures don’t even show how absolutely stunning this house is. It was immaculately clean with so many little extras that it made it the perfect house to stay in for an extended time. The neighborhood was great and so close to the cape which was geeat for day trips. We will definitely be staying again if we don’t purchase property in the area because we loved it so much!

Just lovely. Great WiFi, very modern and everything we needed. It was very clean and well set up with an awesome little guide about the house and surroundings! The host left out dog water bowl and food bowl and put out a dog blanket for us, which was very thoughtful. Will definitely be back.

We are already planning to return next year. This house was magical - the big open main room space with a lovely view of the pond was so relaxing to be in, we didn't want to leave. But the opportunity for our dog, Rooster, to go swimming steps from the house was a powerful draw to head outside. This is an area for people who like their privacy, nature and a quick walk to pristine and wild beaches. The simple-but-well appointed kitchen is perfect for spending time apart from the hustle and bustle of the outside world and enjoying good meals and great meals. Provincetown was :30 away and two great cafes (one French and the other the Salty Market) were about :15 away.

Had a great stay with my boyfriend for my birthday and our anniversary. Super close to Main Street where there’s lots to do and close to Woodshole to catch the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard! Jefferson was very detailed and responsive making us feel right at home even before we checked in. Great cozy spot perfect for our trip would definitely stay again!

Tara is an absolutely wonderful host! We had the BEST girls weekend relaxing in the hot tub and checking out nearby shops and restaurants. The location is amazing. We're already thinking about planning our next trip to the cape! Thank you so much for having us! 🩷

Great apartment. Close to the beach and great restaurants, but also quiet and peaceful. Slept better here than I do at home.

My boyfriend, our dogs and I had a great weekend getaway! It was quiet and peaceful, and the location was beautiful. There was plenty of space for all staying and Debra was very friendly and helpful. Huge choice of nearby restaurants and activities. The only downfall was inability to swim in the pond itself due to bacteria counts - totally out of Debra's control! She was able to give us recommendations on other swimming spots and we had a fantastic time swimming with our pups. Would absolutely recommend and hope to stay here again!

Beautiful lakeside getaway in a cozy woodland setting. The house is full of historical charm and personality. The view from the multiple decks are gorgeous and invite you to sit outside and really enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We absolutely loved it!

Irie by the Lake was fantastic. The home is not only beautiful and perfectly designed and decorated, but it was the cleanest vacation rental I’ve ever stayed in. Carol was super responsive and helpful. We are already planning to return.

Such a cute cottage! Very nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the area - we were there to enjoy some biking and there are some great trails nearby. There is quite a bit of road noise (trucks, sirens) from the nearby highway - this was not noticeable inside the cottage but while we were on the deck. But it's still very nice to sit outside - we saw geese, swans, osprey, and gulls. A very pleasant place to enjoy a relaxing weekend.

Excellent stay. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. We rested well and were able to relax. We appreciated having laundry on site since we were on a 10-day trip. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. But that is a minor detail when you can watch the sunset over the peaceful water. Lisa communicated well and responded quickly. The house is easy to get to and stores are easy to travel to. Excellent location.

As soon as I walked into Carol’s place, I felt right at home. In fact, I was sad I couldn’t stay longer. Dennis is a great centrally located area on the Cape (next to many great restaurants and a supermarket). The cottage itself is in a quiet neighborhood right in front of Flax Pond (great for kayaking). It was well stocked with amenities and things to do I could just spend all day there. Carol was friendly and responsive. I would book at the Compass Rose Cottage again!

Extremely clean and tidy - very comfortable for my wife and I for the week! Such a peaceful area, very quiet neighbors!

Me and my friends decided to spend 2 days at Ann’s beautiful airbnb & we are heading back to Boston with the most beautiful memories. Ann is a friendly & trustworthy host. The house was exactly as shown in pictures & had all the amenities we needed. Situated on a beautiful lake & close to grocery stores, restaurants & other scenic places. We will be sure to visit again in the future. Thank you Ann , I hope we can visit again soon

Leah responded to my booking request within minutes. This was so important because our previous reservations fell through. This was a last-minute booking and I’m so thankful that I was able to find such a wonderful location. Everything that was in the listing was accurate and we felt right at home after an easy check-in process. I cannot thank Leah and Brandon enough for their willingness to let us rent their beautiful cottage last minute. The home is fully stocked with anything that we may have needed. It was a little chilly, but the space heaters were enough to get us through the chilly nights. My kids and I were able to watch Halloween movies on the TV while gazing at the full moon from the skylight above in the living room. I’m looking forward to going back to Massachusetts in the future. There are so many different things that this town and surrounding towns offer.

We loved Ann’s place. It was very convenient to everything we wanted to do. The place was cute and cozy. Ann was super responsive to a challenge we had and took great care of us, making sure we were comfortable. Beautiful neighborhood for walking.

We just got home from Sunkissed Cottage and we already miss it! It was so relaxing and peaceful! We loved the view of the water! It was extremely windy and chilly while we were there so we didn’t get to enjoy the kayaks! Everything was so clean and nicely decorated! Meg also gave a huge list of things to do and restaurants/ markets which was a huge help. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
