Matsuo House - Private Room Aki (Max 4 persons)

RoryRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Location is great; near lots of Onsen and bus station. Hosts were amazingly helpful with everything, and always willing to go the extra mile (for example my son was sick and rather than tell us where the pharmacy was, they rang to take us there, walked us to the place and spoke to the pharmacist) They were also great at helping us navigate the area and giving recommendations about how to arrange our trip. They were friendly and caring. Would really recommend staying here.
A serene room features traditional tatami mat flooring and light-colored walls. Three round seating cushions are positioned on the floor, while a modern floor lamp provides soft illumination. A large window offers a view of the surrounding nature, enhancing the tranquil atmosphere.

Luca

I had an amazing time in Minamisoma staying at guesthouse Luka! It was truly a guest house experience; my own room with high quality furniture and linens in a beautiful home, immaculate and spacious shared kitchen and bathroom. My hosts were so fun and welcoming and offered the perfect balance of conversation and privacy. The location is a 30 minute walk from Haranomachi station, but there's plenty of taxis around the station during the day (and then it'w a 5 minute ride.) I can't wait to come back!
A bright scene captured through a large window shows lush fields and distant mountains under a clear blue sky. Decorative elements, including a lamp and a potted plant, enhance the view, while a vintage clock stands outside, surrounded by vibrant greenery.

Seirai - Seirai, a relaxing, private villa with a natural hot spring

達賢Rating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was truly one of the best stays I’ve ever had in all my years of traveling – a perfect 10 out of 10 experience! The host prepared everything we could possibly need for daily living, with thoughtful attention to detail. There were plenty of hangers, and the kitchen was fully equipped with cooking utensils that were not only complete but also in excellent, like-new condition. Every corner of the house was spotless – immaculately clean. The bed linens and blankets were exceptionally fresh and clean, which made us feel very comfortable. One of the highlights was the bathroom, where we could enjoy a real hot spring bath. The host had already prepared the water at just the perfect temperature, so we could relax and enjoy it as soon as we arrived. There were also many types of pillows to choose from, which made sleeping even more enjoyable. The bath towels were single-use, which was very reassuring from a hygiene perspective. Overall, this experience was truly outstanding and beyond

[only2room] Country Living. 1~4people, farm , BBQ

JohnRating, 5 stars2 months ago
An old house in the countryside, but well maintained and clean. The air is good and quiet. There's a lovely dog Fate and a goat. The host was very hospitable and introduced nearby hot springs. And the BBQ dinner is plentiful and delicious.
