Dammuso La Meridiana

Classic original dammuso. From its terrace you can see the entire district of Scauri and your gaze is lost on the horizon. The Ancient Baglio - Dammuso 'Il Gelso'

The Antico Baglio (“U Bagghiu” in Sicilian) is the only building of its kind in Pantelleria and dates back to around 1700. It is located in the Sesi archaeological area, 400 meters as the crow flies from the coast, 9 minutes from the town of Pantelleria and 14 minutes from the airport. It is made up of four independent Dammusi which can be accessed from the beautiful internal patio. If you want to discover the soul of Pantelleria our dammuso is what you are looking for! With sea view, sun terrace, outdoor kitchen and pool, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, it is located in the northeast area of the island, very practical and at the same time quiet! The place is perfect, halfway between the most crowded points of the island, the phones have no connection and this gives a special note to the accommodation... I was looking for isolation and I found it. The dammuso is spacious and equipped with all the comforts, the outdoor space is kept perfectly, in the morning you look out and see the sunrise over the sea, in the evening you have no light pollution... Alessia is present and discreet.... we had a great time

An unforgettable stay in great company. Marco's proactivity, availability and valuable advice, the kindness and responsiveness of his wonderful collaborator Mariella, who in addition to facilitating the use of the house will be able to give you any information about the island. But most of all, the house. Definitely up to the photos in an incredible location overlooking the blue sea facing the sunset. An architectural and botanical masterpiece that makes it difficult to leave to explore the island. The scene of an indelible shared memory for our family. Thank you!

We had a great time at the dammuso. Everything was as described on the ad. On visiting the island, we were very happy to be in this location with a sea view in front and Montagna Grande and Monte Gibele on our side. We would definitely recommend this location. The dammuso had everything we needed.

Beautiful dammuso with spectacular sea views, both from the window and from the terrace, from which you can admire the beautiful sunsets! The house is small but furnished with care and with everything you need for a short stay. The location is strategic: very quiet but a short walk from the center of Scauri. Very simple check-in and Giulia was very helpful and super responsive.
