Family-friendly vacation rentals in Marsaskala

Seagull Penthouse was everything we hoped for & more. We had an absolutely wonderful week staying here & will definitely be back. Lisa is so lovely, friendly, & committed to everything being great for guests. It's a fabulous apartment, really smart, yet feels homely too. Appliances, fixtures & fittings are all great quality. Comfy beds, & a great night's sleep generally. The spa tub is a great bonus & is really decent, both in size & different functions. You feel on top of the world in there & on balcony - & are not overlooked either. With regards parking, we never failed to get on the quiet road right by the apartment. Sunday is busier due to the market's popularity - rightly so - wow we bought some amazing fish. We did prawns on the BBQ one night & I oven baked a whole, huge wild seabass another. Delicious. Local restaurants are GREAT, too. Honestly, could have stayed a month if we didnt have work to get in the way. Our 12yr old daughter loved it, too. Will be returning!!!

Fabulous house with beautiful pool and lovely bars and restaurants just a stroll away. Stayed with two other couples. Easy 20minute hike down to beach and cafe and boat hire. Only suggestion is if you need to sleep in a dark room, take eye masks with you especially in room with open bathroom. Easy to get around the island from Villa with a car which you can park a few minutes from the property. Didn’t try buses so can’t advise on that. Hosts were brilliant at keeping in touch and offering advice on taxis from airport etc and car hire.,

Andy’s place was perfect for our girls trip to Malta! Very clean, felt safe and was only 15 minutes from the airport. A short drive to nearby towns like Sliema and Valetta. Would definitely recommend for your next stay in Malta.

Wir waren eine knappe Woche in der Unterkunft von Shaun und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Ferienhaus ist mit den um den Innenhof liegenden Zimmern sehr gut aufgeteilt und bot allen Komfort. Der Pool und der Whirlpool waren sauber und hatte vor allem eine tolle Beleuchtung. Fußläufig haben wir alles gut erreichen können, auch bis zum Meer ist es nicht weit. Der Gastgeber Shawn war immer gut erreichbar, wenn wir Fragen hatten.

Loved the house and location, had a 360 view of the sea from the roof terrace. The children enjoyed their time in the swimming pools. Had all the amenities needed for a home away from home. The cleaner and owner were very helpful and accommodating to our family and we really appreciate that.

The villa was beautiful. Everywhere was spacious and clean. The pool is perfect. Overall really pleased with our stay. Location was good but due to the mobility of the guests walking to the beach was not an option. The driver we had was absolutely first class - provided by the villa. A couple of maintenance issues which were quickly fixed.

We had a fantastic stay at Antoinette's place. The flat was exactly as described, very clean and the outdoor pool area was fantastic. It was ideal for the kids and we all had plenty of space. The flat was brilliantly located for getting to the beach at Mellieha and for buses around the island. Antoinette was really helpful, lots of great recommendations and was always responsive. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay with 10 people. Rooms where nice and clean with large living room, dining room and kitchen. Most of all loved the large and deep pool that most other places did not offer with max depth of 2,4m. We also liked the grill area that we used in the evening to make food and sit outside. Only small complaint would be the pool man being there a bit early and making noice before 8 am (might be just a light sleeper problem) and the hair dryers did not work.

Moritz was super host- super quick to reply. The apartment is in a great location in my favourite place in Malta, super outside space for relaxing and enjoying the views of Spinola Bay You have an amazing choice of superb restaurants right on your doorstep. Would definitely return. Thank you Moritz mum and I had a fabulous relaxing stay.

Schon ab der Buchung war die Kommunikation mit Tina hervorragend – schnell, hilfsbereit und mit vielen nützlichen Tipps (z. B. Restaurantliste). Beim Öffnen der Balkontür hat uns der atemberaubende Blick auf Valletta sofort begeistert. Die Lage ist ideal: Fähren und Busse sind direkt gegenüber, Supermarkt, Restaurants und Bars in der Nähe. Vom Balkon hat man einen tollen Blick auf die Promenade von Sliema, und trotzdem ist es in der Wohnung ruhig – die Schlafzimmer liegen nach hinten. Wenn wir wieder nach Malta reisen, würden wir dieses Apartment sofort wieder buchen. Kleiner Hinweis: Für Malta braucht man einen Adapter für britische Steckdosen (Typ G).

A Perfect Stay in the Heart of Malta! We absolutely loved our stay at this gem of an Airbnb in Rabat, right next to the stunning, historic city of Mdina. The location couldn’t have been better—just a stone’s throw from charming restaurants (GO TO YANA'S), cozy cafes (GO TO CHALK), and beautiful walks through the medieval streets. It was also the ideal central hub for exploring the rest of Malta, with easy access to transport links and a peaceful atmosphere to come back to after a day of adventuring. We did hire a car and a big car park at the top of Labini street The property itself was spotless, stylishly furnished, and had all the comforts of home. Every detail was thoughtfully considered to make our stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. The hosts were warm, responsive, and gave us excellent local tips that really made our trip special. We’d return in a heartbeat—highly recommended to anyone visiting Malta!

My partner and I had the best time at Sim's property. It is a beautiful flat, spacious and comfortable. Sim's recommendations were spot on and not like anything we had seen before - his level of detail in the information he sent before check in was unheard of. We are very happy to have stayed at Sim's flat and definitely recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Robert's place. The location is great for access to both the old town and the ferry, with great views out of the balcony area. The apartment has homely vibes and Robert was very generous in stocking us up with beverages and snacks on arrival which was much appreciated. Would recommend!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Lucy. L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter les 3 cités, et à proximité du ferry pour se rendre à La Valette. La maison est typique maltaise, très charmante et la rue est joli et calme. Le toit terrasse est un plus, fort agréable pour profiter des soirées. Il est facile de se garer à proximité. Lucy est de plus une hôte très réactive et disponible pour répondre à toutes les questions. Lucy met a disposition un classeur avec toutes les recommandations nécessaires pour passer un excellent séjour : restaurants, plages, sites à visiter, etc. Des adaptateurs sont également disponibles dans son logement pour les prises européennes. Nous recommandons vivement Lucy et son logement pour un séjour sur Malte !

This place is a real gem - although quite an old place it is full of charm and very comfortable for a group. We had two couples and a single and the place was perfect. Most enjoyable is the roof space where we spent most of our time, watching the harbour. We managed to find parking down by the water which is only a short walk up the steps to the property. A really great find, our family will be back again one day!

Jason is really helpful, friendly and easy to communicate with. He also provided some toys for the children which was a nice surprise. The place is as described in the pictures. It has all the necessary items for cooking and two separate bedrooms. The location is great with plenty of restaurants, shops and a ferry to Valletta within a short walking distance. We also paid for the private parking possibility, which was super convenient as we had a car and knew that it can be problematic to find a street parking spot in Sliema.

This was our second stay at Marthese's place, and we just love it. Perfect for a quiet week of relaxation, always spotless and comfortable, and the smart TV is a great new addition if you want a quiet night in while you're there! Thanks Marthese!

Un excellent séjour à Paola ! Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans cette maison bien équipée et fonctionnelle. Tout était propre, confortable et conforme à la description. La piscine est un vrai plus pour se détendre lors d’une journée off ou après une journée de visite. La localisation à Paola est idéale, la maison se trouve à proximité des arrêts de bus, ce qui permet de se déplacer facilement partout sur l’île. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié la communication avec les hôtes, qui ont été très réactifs, disponibles et chaleureux tout au long du séjour. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse pour découvrir Malte !

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Andrew. Le logement est spacieux, bien entretenu et bien équipé avec une très belle terrasse avec piscine et grand barbecue. Logement idéal pour un groupe d'amis ou une grande famille. Nous y avons passé une très bonne semaine. Une belle adresse à retenir !

We stayed in four properties during our trip to Malta & Gozo. This was by far the most professional and communicative host with the highest standard. The property has been cleverly thought through- from potato peelers and cheese graters to deckchairs- they are excellent quality. You are made to feel that you are valued and the host has not provided you with cheap utensils. The finish overall was amazing. It was well stocked with everything- indoor and pool towels. The tv is easy to use- we got Amazon Prime working easily. The pool is gorgeous and very peaceful. We felt safe as a family of four and found getting places using Bolt no problem.

What a lovely place! We had a wonderful time, accommodation was perfect for our needs, clean, tidy, comfy, we really enjoyed the pool especially the kids, my personal favourite was enjoying a morning coffee on the balcony. Many thanks!

We had a great stay at Joe and Lillian's lovely place. They were super-helpful giving us clear instructions and directions, as well as good tips for local places to go. We had one question while we were there and Joe responded straight away. He also took the trouble to call to make sure we were OK after a storm swept over Gozo one day (thankfully the storm didn't stay!). The property is really comfortable and full of character and rustic charm. We loved the upstairs terrace which is a gorgeous sun trap and we also enjoyed spending time in the lovely garden enjoying the afternoon sun. The location is nice and quiet and the village square is within walking distance - in addition to the impressive church it has a few good places to eat drink and have coffee - we tried most of them! We really enjoyed the walk to one of the local bays which Joe had recommended, and all in all really loved our second visit to the island of Gozo.
