Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Marrakesh-Safi

The Riad was beautiful and even better than the pictures. It was a perfect location within the Medina and walking distance to most attractions. Alice has done a great job decorating the place. Abdou and Fatima made our stay seamless, easy and special. They made a great spread every morning for breakfast. Abdou was particularly helpful in making restaurant suggestions…Atay Cafe and L’Mida were both great choices.

Inside the old walls of the medina, Baladin is up a quiet alleyway. The soothing waves could be heard. Felix was very welcoming at Baladin, greeting us with mint tea and some delicious sweet sesame delicacies. He showed us around the riad and gave us suggestions for places to eat (one of which we kept going back to - Chez Loubna). The staff are warm and friendly. Essential oils and night lights lightly fragrance the air. The roof terrace was perfect to do my yoga on at sunrise. Glimpses of the ocean. Straw hats and blankets supplied for creature comfort. In December Essaouira is hot by day, and cool by night so the real log fire at breakfast felt super cosy. A hot tub on the ground floor. The room had a kettle, some herbal teas and a hot water bottle! The decor was light, airy, unpretentious and natural - drift wood 4poster bed, white walls, grainy wood, craquelure plaster walls, pots of cacti, opening windows. We got to meet the owner - a very friendly ginger cat called Simba.

We spent 4 days at the Riad. Rachid, Mou and Youssef hosted us very well. Rachid was able to recommend fabulous places and even took care of booking for us. We also thank Samira and her delicious and varied breakfasts: fruit, homemade yogurt, local breads and pastries, eggs, tea, coffee, fresh orange juice, etc. The Riad and the rooms are beautiful, identical to the photos. It is located a stone's throw from the Place des Ferblantiers and between 5 and 10 minutes from the Place Jeema el Fna. We'll be back. 😊

We had a great time at Lou's house! The house is beautiful with a spectacular view of the beach and Essaouira and at the same time in the center. Very clean house with all the comforts and a clear attention to making guests feel at home! Thanks, we'll definitely be back ❤️

Not far from the extra city of Essaouira, 15 minutes from the city's airport, the site lost in nature immediately brings a serene and calm atmosphere in a dry and arid environment. And then the soft pool with its deckchairs. No sound, breathtaking views, the softness of the wind sometimes and the simple and warm welcome of Marion and Saïd starts a stay of rest and possible reflections as a couple or alone in the many alcoves and corners spread out in this large handmade house and located 3 hours by flight from Paris or Marseille. The large suite with its traditional adobe fireplace is soft and soothing. Thanks and see you soon. Anita and David P.S. A beautifully restored riad in the heart of Marrakech - elegant, clean, cool, comfortable and well maintained. The main attractions and vibes of the city are within easy walking distance. Our hosts were easy to contact, responsive, friendly and solicitous. Our fantastic housekeeper arranged longer distance day trips with trusted people so that, as first-timers to Morroco, we felt safe, looked after and welcome. We were travelling with older family members who found the set up here to be a really great introduction to the remarkable Marrakech world. I would very happily return here - great hospitality.

A beautiful Riad in a great location in the heart of the medina close to souks, the secret garden and some of the best restaurants. Our room was perfect on the ground floor with a en suite on a mezzanine. It was air conditioned but in May was naturally cool at night. The staff were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

The Riad is exactly as shown, it is really lovely. I would definitely recommend getting an airport transfer via Olivier as the hotel staff kindly met us at the drop off point and walked us back to the Riad (which would have been tricky to find on our own at night) The ladies serving breakfast were outstanding, very kind and breakfast was lovely every day. The place is quiet, the pool is cold but this is quite nice after a 35 degree day outside! The receptionist was also great. The suite was very clean and was attended to every day. I would definitely recommend getting an official tour guide for your first morning as we were given so much helpful information that we used throughout the holiday, including general advice, historical facts, specific directions, etc. Just don’t ask them to take you shopping as you’ll be directed to more expensive places! The area is lively and friendly, we felt safe as a group of 3 women. Lots of children and cats running around :)

We had a wonderful stay – the room was beautiful and the view absolutely stunning. The location is peaceful and perfect for relaxing, though it’s a bit outside the city, so having a car is definitely recommended. Otherwise, you’ll need to take a taxi, which costs around 10€ (100 Dhs) per ride. While we appreciated having breakfast provided, we felt it could have been a bit more thoughtfully curated to reflect the overall charm and high standard of the villa. Grazie mille!

This was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed at and I can’t recommend it enough!! The riad is gorgeous, spacious, and clean as well as very centrally located to all of Marrakech’s major sites. Bahia was an amazing help and always went above and beyond for us - answering all our questions, giving us directions, printing our boarding passes, and cooking us a delicious breakfast every morning. Our visit to Marrakech would not have been the same without her. Do not hesitate to book this place!!

Very good stay at Hamid's! It was a pleasure to discover the Atlas, the local culture, to visit the surrounding Berber villages with him. The food was excellent, very generous portions, spacious and comfortable rooms. Beautiful setting around and beautiful hikes. Hamid is a great host and a great guide. Thank you so much!

We had such a lovely stay at Riad of Light. The staff were so helpful and caring. The breakfast was delicious and made for us fresh. The riad felt so private away from the busy streets of the medina. Thank you for such a nice stay!

It was a nice stay. We enjoyed the rooftop and the cozy riad. We really loved that they haf included breakfast but obly missed some eggs. Besides this, it was very perfect and the guy at the reception was very helpful and kind!

The riad was beautiful, exactly what was shown in the pictures. Although it was inside of the market, it was situated off a a private pathway which allowed it to be quite peaceful. The hosts and staff were lovely, very helpful and always available. The location felt safe and I never felt uncomfortable being alone. The location was perfect , there was so much to see and do. Breakfast was great, beds were very comfortable, and the place was always spotless. I really loved my stay and would definitely stay there again whenever I come back to Morocco.

An idyllic space, in total tranquility. Wonderful structure and everyone is very hospitable. Rachid was fantastic and the lady, whose name I don't know, was super nice and brought us fresh cut fruit to the room. It's like being at home, relaxing, with an amazing landscape. Excellent dinner and breakfast! We were a couple, but it is also an excellent place for families.

We loved the place and the location. Very easy to get everywhere, very easy to find. The staff was really great and they helped us with all we needed.

I cannot give this team enough praise. Property manager Abdo and cook/maid Naima are an excellent team…helpful, communicative and kind. The team arranged the transfer from the airport for a fee and Abdo met us as the home. The location is perfect…in the middle of the Medina but quiet. The design was excellent…high quality European design with gorgeous colors, fabrics and furnishings. The unit has a hammam and massage table on bottom level…incredible…and the team will arrange for your spa treatments! The rooftop pool and deck were a joy to experience the calls to prayer and sunset views over the Medina. Indeed, coming home to this unit was the highlight of the visit to Marrakesh. Thank you for the memories!

Our stay at this Riad was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed not as guests, but as family. The Riad itself is stunning — every corner is thoughtfully designed, blending traditional Moroccan beauty with comfort and serenity. The attention to detail, the peaceful atmosphere, and the breathtaking views made it the perfect retreat. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the hospitality. Halime greeted us each morning with a warm smile and a breakfast that felt like it was made by a loving mother — fresh, delicious, and full of care. Her kindness set the tone for the day. Jan and El-Hossein were incredibly attentive, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. They were gracious, warm, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We left with full hearts, grateful for the generosity and spirit of this place. We can’t recommend it enough — not just the Riad, but the entire area. It’s a gem worth discovering.

The room is well located right in the Medina, so you can do everything by feet. For our taste the room was a bit dark, but I guess that’s normal in a Riad. Also you should be aware that the room is really open, so if you travel with someone, privacy is not really given, which was super fine for us. Check in was super smooth and we felt super safe in the area. The communication was great and everyone was super friendly. Beautiful rooftop and pool area.

The photos are in line with reality: the apartment is nice and very well located. A big thank you to Hala for her kindness and availability! She really takes care of her guests, even going so far as to stay on the phone with you until you arrive if needed. Always attentive when needed, she knows how to be present while being discreet. Special mention for her two adorable hairballs, Leo and Candy, two very soft and affectionate cats. The apartment is conveniently located: convenience store right next door, bakery, market, pharmacy, several cafes and restaurants… And if you have a car, Marjane is accessible in just a few minutes. I had such a good time at Youssef and his wife’s house! They are very welcoming, friendly and communicative via message. From the taxi drop off, it will be a 5min walk in small streets to access the house. Easy if you don’t carry too much. Otherwise people can help you if you give them a bit of $. I highly recommend for a peaceful and typical stay, well situated but calm at the same time. Also adding they have a beautiful terrace. 100% worth it

We loved our stay here! The perfect central location, and they organised our taxi from the airport. The room was perfect and Doudou and Bahya looked after us to well and gave us such a delicious breakfast. Delphine responded immediately to any messages, and was so helpful e.g helping us sort out a tour guide. Would 100% recommend ! Thank you :)
