Owl's Nest: A Nature Lover's Getaway

Dan And GraceRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The home was everything we could ask for, my wife Grace and I really loved the place and our son really felt at home and enjoyed the space. It was very private and the outdoors area was great, we were able to prepare an Easter egg hunt for our son very comfortably. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living spaces were very comfortable. We absolutely enjoyed all the coziness of the home and the outdoor space. Our family would love to return to the Owl's Nest.
An open and airy space features a staircase with wooden treads leading to a living area. Colorful ceramic tiles contrast with natural wood elements, while tall windows invite abundant light. A red couch and bookshelves are visible in the background, enhancing the inviting atmosphere.

Life in Color, Live Art Home

WaruneeRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We just came back from a week stay in this home and we found it to be better than the pictures. There is no way to accurately articulate how unique this house is, as well as the surroundings. We had snow during our stay so our kids (7 & 11 yrs old and California boys) couldn’t wait to pelt each other with snowballs and go sledding. It wasn’t a ton of snow, but there is a perfect slope right on the property that is steep enough to produce enough speed for the kiddos but levels off at the end where you don’t have to worry about them losing control. The house is well stocked with all the things that you need but never want to buy new when you’re traveling because in actuality you’re only going to use a very small amount — like cooking oil, spices, sugar, coffee, ketchup, etc…. If you have friends in town, this house is perfect for a nice dinner party or a small get together. There are lots of nooks and crannies to discover. Lovely home. Would definitely like to come back!
A gray heron stands gracefully on a rocky outcrop near the pond's edge, surrounded by lush greenery and autumn foliage. The still water reflects the heron and the surrounding landscape, contributing to the natural tranquility of the setting.

Gallery On The Pond

This stay was exactly what we needed and Shula’s place was wonderful! The space was very clean, really nicely decorated and thought out, and had the cooking and grill items we needed. Shula was super welcoming — responsive, kind, and truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Even brought us watermelon! The property is so peaceful and lovely. We are looking forward to coming back again to escape NYC

Modern Studio in Idyllic Hudson Valley Countryside

PatRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is my second stay with Frank since last year and the studio has been consistently comfortable, exceptionally clean and filled with everything you may need to enjoy your stay, including things you may have forgotten (eg, band-aids, in my case). The back yard is gorgeous and it was very enjoyable to walk around the grounds and see the apple orchards and the beautiful flowers. Frank is very friendly, accessible, and answered all my questions. The photos are exactly as the studio looks! I would highly recommend this place when in the Mid-Hudson Valley!!

Woodsy Home with Garden + Office

We had a lovely stay at Yrenilsa’s lovely apartment over Memorial Day weekend. We were in Poughkeepsie for a graduation, and being able to come home to a quiet, private, beautiful and peaceful abode was wonderful. We slept better than at home! The apartment was spotless, well appointed, comfortable and welcoming. Yrenilsa and Krystal were very easy to communicate with and responsive hosts! We hope to be back one day!

Charming Getaway in Historic Poughkeepsie

ElizabethRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was a wonderful, comfortable apartment with a nice backyard area, close to the train station and a very short drive to Vassar College. A lovely spot to enjoy exploring the Hudson Valley from! The hosts are communicative, had a bottle of wine waiting for us, and everything was very clean. They were also kindly flexible about adjusting our check in time. Thank you for a great stay!
