This hostel is absolutely superb and good value for money. The staff are friendly, helpful and go the extra mile to ensure that you are comfortable. The facilities are clean and are sufficient. Breakfast is good and basic items available. I recommend it 100%

I really liked the hostel and the staff were very accommodating. It's not close to downtown but it's a warm and comfortable place. My stay is a few more days. I highly recommend it.

Mr.Madaraka Nyerere is a great host, nice and humble. His house located in the center of Butiama. And his house is the house of Mwalimu Nyerere ;) As a researcher of Tanzanian studies I am so exciting to live in the house of Mwl and even have a opportunity to visit Mwl Nyerere home library. We also have nice talking about Mr. Madaraka himself and his father’s political life . Such a great safari to butiama. I highly recommend this house to stay.

Excellent host on all accounts. Extremely pleasant stay. House has its own garden, it is very secure and the locals in the community are very friendly.
