This is our second stay here, and we are drawn to this peaceful area not only for its serenity but also for its stunning views. Additionally, the house is impeccably clean. We also extended our stay by an extra day on short notice, and Debbie was instrumental in accommodating our request. It is a fabulous place to stay for families and the additional equipment that they have for the families to use is amazing. The setting is glorious and outlook is stunning. The Bay its self is very safe for children to undertake water activities. The hosts were lovely and went above and beyond with additional options for linen because of the rainy weather conditions. We would have no hesitation in booking to stay again.

We loved our stay at Grants place. The house is on the most peaceful street with the beach and a sand dunes walk right next door. We loved watching the sunrise from our bedroom. The kitchen was fully equipped and we made delicious meals and ate on the deck with a view. Clean and spacious throughout. We had many things to see in the north and this was a great location to do so and the recommendations from Grant were great. What a gem location! Grant was great to deal with from beginning to end and the price can’t be beat. I highly recommend this lil slice of paradise to anyone coming to see the north or just anyone looking for a peaceful holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed spending time at this property. Apart from the views (which are amazing) the accommodations were fantastic and well maintained. This is somewhere I would definitely stay again if I am back in Paihia.

We had a lovely stay – the house was perfect for our group, with plenty of space and a great layout. It’s well-equipped, beautifully located, and the views are stunning. Despite the wild weather, it was a relaxing place to unwind. We were lucky with sunshine on our last day and made the most of the lawn, trampoline, and pool. The house isn’t a show home and could use a refresh in places, but it’s comfortable, homely, and ideal for groups. Communication was easy and everything was as described. Would absolutely stay again – I bet it's even better in sunny weather!

Diane’s place was absolutely lovely! The service was above and beyond, the place was nice and cosy. It was super convenient being right off the highway, but so quiet you couldn’t tell. Beautiful fruit trees on the property. The hosts were available and friendly but also gave us our space.

We can’t wait to come back here. We were four couples, two young children. The house and facilities gave everyone plenty of space to relax and enjoy time together. It’s a great space with plenty to do.

The cottage has a gorgeous view - such a treat to wake up to it every morning. Really spacious and ideal for a couple. Short drive away from some amazing beaches. Thank you, Kathy!

We had a lovely stay at Joannes place, everything you would need was available. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door. The place was clean and tidy with so much attention to detail. The location and amenities within the property were excellent and the breakfast hamper was amazing. It's the perfect place to base yourself when exploring the far north. Would defiantly stay again. We came up from Auckland for a wedding & the property was local to everything The property was great and both Rob & his wife were lovely. We barely seen them so we decided to go say hello down at their Phat House bar in haruru. We had a couple of nephews come and visit while we were up aswell . Catching up with whanau and coming back to relax there was lovely .

We had a lovely comfortable stay at the Fish'more cottage. Inger and Claes were very welcoming and friendly. The cottage is private, set away from the main house in amongst the orange trees. It has been very well planned out and beautifully renovated. One of the highlights was feeding the pigs.

We stayed a full week and this Airbnb was so well appointed that our stay was very comfortable. We particularly appreciated the kitchen equipment supplied, as we are vegans and so cook more than many would while on holiday. There is also a great covered patio area which we used and an attractive outlook. The occasionally visiting chooks were a bonus!

My stay in Evi the bus has been nothing other than extremely pleasant. Andrea and her husband John are very kind, welcoming people and their dog Bruno is a real sweetheart. The bus itself is very comfortable and precisely like the pictures represent. The location is perfect for exploring the area (Waitangi, Russell, Paihia) and even for making a trip towards Cape Reinga. The hospitality has been heartwarming and even late at night when I was in need of some help, Andrea came over to assist me. Plus, she even gave me a nature lesson with some very interesting facts about the nightlife and the sounds we could hear outside. Hearing a Kiwi-sound, a Morepork owl and seeing the galaxy extremely clearly from right outside the bus has been an amazing extra. Thanks again for the wonderful few days!

My partner and I really enjoyed our two days in this lovely tiny home. The perfect spot to explore the West Coast while still being close to Kerikeri for great restaurants and supplies. The surroundings were very peaceful and quiet. Hosts were very friendly and responsive. Many thanks

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was me, my partner, my sister, her partner, and their newborn — and the space was perfect for all of us. The house was fresh, clean, and beautifully maintained. Being right on the beach made it even more special — private, peaceful, and ideal for a relaxing getaway. The host went above and beyond by providing breakfast items and treats, which we really appreciated. There were also heaps of games available, which we definitely made use of and had a lot of fun with. You can really feel the care that’s gone into creating a welcoming and comfortable space. We’d definitely love to come back — highly recommend!

Great stay at Brady’s place for our family of five. Tidy and clean with a lot of thought on the little things - and very comfortable beds. Brady thoughtfully left out milk and some sweet treats . The Nespresso coffee machine was a big hit in the morning. Brady was a great communicator with local knowledge and suggestions - beaut beaches close by (and easy walk to Tokerau Beach). And we shot up to Cape Reinga for a day trip.. The local fish ‘n chip shop was excellent too btw. Thanks Brady (enjoyed your drumming too!).
