Cute little barn with almost direct access to volcano hiking path. Amazingly friendly and helpful host that goes above and beyond. Everything you need to do some cooking in the little house plus the BBQ outside. Comfortable bed. Beautiful surrounding with view of the volcano. Only small negative to mention is that the houses around often play very loud music, several at the same time. Didn't bother us too much though. Overall we loved our stay here. Thanks Einsa for everything.

Beautiful place, amazing view close to the water and a shop at 5 min walking, amazing host 🌊 safe space to park your motorbike, downstairs you have always people present who answer your questions and help you out. There is a pool on the 15th floor which is also pretty amazing. Just be aware there is no WiFi connection, I didn't read this well( my own fault) and it got a bit stressy with work. also, be aware that somehow the 4G signal in the building ( or Manado?) is not so strong if you want to do video calling would def recommend!

Cozy Apartment in the heart of Manado City

We spent 1 week at John's place and really enjoyed ourselves because the view was amazing. There was also lots of eateries nearby. My favorite was SONDO | MISOA BAR where the beef meesuah was the best. We also took a walk to the nearby market Pasar Bahu and had nasi kuning there. John was helpful with information on Manado as well as flexible with the check in and check out time. We had to place a cash deposit with him which he graciously agreed allowed us to use our own local currency as we didn't want to return with too much Indonesian Rupiah at the end of our trip. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Great stay at Kuskus resort, Son and his family were amazing kind, available and accommodating with us. Meals cooked by his wife are clearly the best on the island! We only had the resort to ourselves, which made the exchange unique. Do not hesitate to ask them to book you activities they organize days with them in absolutely fabulous places! We come better for experiences out of the ordinary than for comfort, a real life at the Robinson Crusoe that invite total disconnection!

Our stay at Villa Meras was great! It is a beautiful, spacious and comfortable house with enough privacy for each of a larger group. The host and hostess were incredibly friendly and thoughtful. Every morning a delicious breakfast with fresh fruit at the agreed time and on request nasi was picked up at a local eatery. They also provided lunch and/or dinner on request, always particularly tasty. The facilities are top! A nice and nice swimming pool, air conditioning in the bedrooms and the possibility to rent a scooter or use the shuttle service by car. This makes exploring the area extra easy. In short, a fantastic experience. We can absolutely recommend a stay at the villa! In any case, we'd love to come back.

We stayed only for 2 days but quite enjoyed the house. Mr Sukamto gave a very clear guidance about arrival route. and our co-host, Mr Roland was waiting there in advance. Mr. Roland checked in us every day to see if we need anything for help. Very considerate and kind. 100% recommend Sukamto's house if you decide to visit Tomohon.

Unit in the best complex of Manado

Remy's place was perfect for us. The host is very responsive and the caretaker (Pak Vicky) is really helpful. Some of the broken items (AC and shower faucet) were immediately repaired. The unit has private and exclusive location, spacious rooms, and complete facilities. But the unit needs some deep cleaning because the wardrobes are moldy and the headboards are dusty. But overall Remy's place was really worth it and I would happily recommend it to my friends.

The house is just outside the hustle of Tomohon in a residential area. The villa is big with ample space in and outside. Michell is not permanently in the property as she lives in Manado but she i contacted very easily and helps out with everything. There is a very large garden which gives an open and relaxed atmosphere. In the month of august it is not always as quite as you would expect, prepearions for Independence day, an Islamic holiday, neighbour parties, Singing in the nearby church starting at 5 am. It all contributes to the experience of being in a non touristic environment. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay.

Very nice stay in Tomohon. Felt welcome in the house and were treated so nicely! Nice places to eat nearby, and we walked into town no problem, or easy to catch a Grab. Fergie helped organise some transport for us as well as hints for other activities to do :) recommended!

Very, very great family, you feel at home and well looked after. The food is incredibly good. We are vegan and it was no problem at all to eat vegan and they catered to all our wishes. And above all, the food was very varied, there was always something different over the 5 days and, above all, very large portions. They go to great lengths. The room was small, but just like in the photos. There is also a larger room with a bathroom (recommended). The accommodation is located in the village, which means very central for snorkeling and diving (both right outside the door), but you also get the neighborhood noise ;) great value for money, we would come again.

Vers nice people!

We had a really nice stay, would definitely recommend it! We first booked one night in the treehouse, with was cozy and had an amazing view on mount Lokon. We liked the home, the host (family) and the location that much that we extended our stay with 2 more nights in the Rumah Ttorre Bedroom, with it's large windows and spacious room also very nice. The family was very inviting and took us on a trip to a pottery village. And are also willing to prepare for you a special meal with strange animals from the market of Tomohon: fruit mouse, snake,... Spicy, strange but really cool they did this for us.

A spacious balcony features stylish seating and a glass table, offering an unobstructed view of lush rice paddies and the distant Lokon volcano under a bright sky. The polished floor reflects natural light, enhancing the serene outdoor atmosphere.

Modern newly build room with great view

Nice, quiet and cozy place to stay in Tomohon, the room is newly renovated, very clean and spacious. Bed is very comfortable, also has a table/desk and lamp as a working/reading and writing area. Host Sharon is very responsive and attentive, her co host is very approachable and caring. Also we had the help from the hotel staff as well. Hotel has private car hire with/without driver with a reasonable price, and driver speaks basic English and knows the area very well. If you like being in a quiet place, this one is perfect for you, it’s not in the town center where most noises generate from; and you can see the iconic Gurung Lokon from the lounge just outside. At night, no noise of motorbikes zooming by, only frogs and some random dog barks. Bukit Doa is within walking distance, town center is about 1.3 miles away, which is walkable, or you can ask the hotel staff to order a Grab for you, they are very helpful. Staff cleans the room everyday unless you told them otherwise. Plenty things to do in Tomohon and the surrounding area. Sharon and her co cost are happy to give you tips about this area, what to do and where to go. Overall, this is a very pleasant place to stay in Tomohon, very clean and comfortable, unlike other hotels we stayed, this one is outstandingly Morden. I recommend everyone who come to Tomohon stays here.
